The spa is amazing. It is kept immaculately and everything is like brand new. The young lady on reception was very helpful and nice. The room was exceptional - I had room 205 with a big double bed and it appeared very new. Everything was spotless. There is a beautiful indoor swimming pool. The night was quiet with no disturbance. The breakfast was amazing and even had apfelstrudel and vanilla sauce! It had everything you can imagine and the waitress was very nice and helpful. This is a 10/10 property which you will not regret booking.

Lovely friendly welcome. Upgraded to a comfort room which was bigger, spotlessly clean, well furnished and, of course, comfortable! Evening meal and breakfast very good. Lovely views of snow-capped mountains.

Very nice family-owned hotel in Wals on the outskirts of Salzburg. Quiet neighbourhood. Hotel itself was very traditional, staff helpful and friendly and spoke English. The room was spacious on the 3. floor, but no aircon. Beds were very good and bathroom nice and modern. Breakfast was fantastic with everything - even an omelet station with a chef cooking your omelet to order with your selection of toppings. Evening meal in the restaurant was also lovely and well priced, with local ingredients. All in all a very nice 3-day stay.

It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there.
We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking.
Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!

To things are subjects for improvement
First
1.enrich the breakfast
2.There is no refrigerator and safe in the rooms, in my opinion this is a big drawback, a hotel with excellent service like the Kammel needs a safe and a refrigerator in the room for the comfort of the guests

A lovely small hotel in a beautiful location, by a small river. Modern, nicely styled, functional rooms. Excellent wellness center, including a well-equipped fitness room. Amazingly-rich breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff, including the owners, Melanie and Andreas, and the receptionist, Eva, and in fact, everyone. Easy access to the main roads to Austria and Germany and 10 minutes drive to the airport, all without traffic jams.
The room was spacious and the large window had a screen. We did not bother to book a hotel with an AC. They are rare and usually the AC is not great, but we were very thankful for the fan and the small refrigerator. Great free parking and great restaurant just down road. The breakfast was also excellent.
A very nice traditional-style hotel about 10-15 minutes from the airport. Quiet and very friendly. A welcome one-night stop after a long day travelling. We regretted not going back when we returned to Salzburg a few days later but had booked a more central city hotel which was nothing like as nice.
We wish this hotel and the staff were closer to America so we could visit often. It was the best part of our trip! The owners have thought about everything for their guests’ comfort and enjoyment. The pools, the rooms, the and the amenities were all above and beyond what we expected. Loved it!
Fantastic room with a big balcony. Very friendly staff. Pet-friendly hotel. Big parking in front of the hotel but, unfortunately, when the restaurant is open, it's difficult to find a parking spot for hotel visitors.
Very clean property and a very nice restaurant. Very close to Salzburg.
I did not expect this, as usually in Austria (especially smaller hotels) have very few items for breakfast, this hotel has a very rich and large breakfast. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly.
The room was clean with coffee and tea bar, comfortable blankets and nice view. There is a perfect wellness with swimming pool inside and outside. Breakfast was delicious, hotel staff was kind and helpful.
A beautiful modern hotel. Nice spacious wellness area with a large indoor pool. Very nice, clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. Excellent choice of breakfast. Definitely recommendable.
