The location is amazing. Next to a beautiful lake that we went swimming in every day even though the water was freezing, and there is a lovely walk over to the next lake only a few minutes up the road. Really nice buffet breakfast.

Excellent property just 15kms away from main Hallstatt. The drive was pleasant. The rooms are a bit far away from the main reception building but the view from the balcony was awesome. The restaurant is good too.

Very picturesque, quiet and calm place foo relaxation, or for nature walks. Beautiful lake, a bit cold, but you still can bath. You can also find nice little beaches when walking along the lake, not many people around. Not many places to eat, but the food in our hotel restaurant was delicious, very high level!MariannaRussia

Lake Grundlsee is a beautiful quiet location, very suitable for family holidays, pleasant swimming, fishing in the lake. The apartment was cosy, clean, superbly equipped, e.g. many kitchen appliances, washing machine etc. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, gave us tips on excursions and events in the area, were interested in us all the time to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The water of the lake is cold but not as cold as other lakes in the area so it was nice to go in. A nice pool and a sauna. We were lucky to stay on a weekend in August that had two events, one in the hotel - food, music and performances and one in the small village near the hotel that had activities for children, food stands and music. Breakfast is very good, it is not included.YahavIsrael

Andreas told us the history of the land/house which goes back to the 1100s. The property has been in the family since the 1600s and a vacation property since 1745. It has been renovated to modern standards. It is just a great spot to enjoy the great benefits of Austria.

There is a good supermarket and bakery nearby. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The hosts are friendly, our kids received gingerbread, and we got some local beer as welcome. It is a great base to explore Salzkammergut region.
