The most comfortable B&B and fantastic hosts (Yana and Mike) we have met during our 2 months road trip in North America. Every detail from checkin, the lounge, to the room were perfect to make us feel at home. Aside from an excellent host, Yana is an excellent chef and even made every effort to accommodate to our special diet requests. It was not standard breakfast, we stayed 2 nights and each breakfast was 3 course with a theme and to our dietary needs. At the lounge, not only coffee and tea the whole day but also freshly baked pastries whereby you can bring out for the day or have tea or supper after a long day outing. At the lounge and at breakfast was also great times to share travels information with fellow travelers. Really a perfect B&B like home.

At the inn the rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. everything went beyond expectations! I told the owner that for me it is like a 5-star hotel in Guesthouse format! There is everything, very clean environment! the snacks are also excellent if you are a little hungry... a quiet environment perfect for those who want to prepare for the Denali expedition or for those looking for a comfortable environment! the owner is super helpful and always kind! Very good WiFi, very comfortable bed, kitchen available, nice shared bathroom always clean. there is also the possibility of washing and drying your clothes.

We stayed in the spacious master bedroom with comfortable bed and pillows, sofa, microwave, small fridge, and agreeable, pleasing décor. A private entrance leads to the deck which extends around two sides of the first floor. The master bathroom offers a long sink with two basins, (and a great liquid soap -- Mrs. Meyer’s made with olive oil and aloe vera). The walk-in closet with a small chest of drawers provides plenty of space for hanging your clothes. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are large and airy with lots of light from windows on three sides and a wonderful view of the mountain through windows that stretch to a vaulted ceiling. The dining room table provides a comfortable space for meeting and talking with other guests from all over the world at breakfast, dinner, or during the day. We appreciated the delicious granola, good coffee, fresh half-and-half, excellent yogurt (Chobani), bananas and lovely blueberries provided at breakfast. The house is set in nature surrounded by forest. A short dirt drive leads from the dirt road to private parking on the lawn in front of the house. You enjoy nature and peace a comfortable drive away from the hustle and bustle of touristic Seward. If puffins are on your bucket list, spend all the time you want with them at the Alaska Sea Life Center: wonderful! Many thanks for a great stay!

The two private suites are separated by a large entrée way. Both suites at the guest house are equipped with a living room, including a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, free toiletries and extra towels which are provided in the bathroom. Two queen beds are located upstairs, on the second level, in the common bedroom. All is excellent. Pretty good!

All guest rooms in McKinley View B&B are fitted with a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. It was wonderful to look at the McKinley View Bed and Breakfast from the outside and it"s wonderful grounds. Everything was neat tidy yet interesting for a wander around the grounds with a pond that ducks come into. We selected the room with a Denali view. The mountain area was cloudy when we got there but the next morning it was glorious. Renee, owner, was friendly and had good advice. Her breakfast was tasty: eggs, bacon, potato's, yogurt and fruit plus juice. Her ground coffee was lovely. The room was well equipped notes to help with TV and other things. The decor for our room and the whole B&B had an Alaskan flavor and charming. Bathroom was pristine in cleanliness, Our bed was cozy, warm and the mattress comfortable. This was our third trip to this B&B over the last few years. We know the standards and warm friendly feeling has continued through the years.

Susitna Place B&B is conveniently located in the heart of Anchorage, 700 metres from Dena'ina Civic Convention Center. Popular points of interest nearby include William A. Egan Civic & Convention Center, Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, Anchorage Museum, City Hall, Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall, and Alaska Center for the Performing Arts. Sullivan Arena is 2.1 km away and The Alaska Zoo is 12 km from the bed and breakfast. Such a lovely place to stay in. The room was huge. A really big and comfortable king bed, a living room with a fireplace, a kitchenette,… anything you would ever want and need. And the hostess was really helpful and super nice. Because we had an early start we got our breakfast to go too. Would love to stay there again.
