This is basically a homestay in a self-contained detached room with an en-suite. The provisions were excellent, and the attention to detail was well appreciated. From yoghurt, fresh fruit to bread for toast in the morning with a range of condiments, along with tea and coffee, I suspect few travellers seeking a bed for the night would be disappointed.

Set in Napier, just 100 metres from Hardinge Road Beach, Beach House Studios offers beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. Property is very clean and spacious , hosts are very friendly, I like the room decor. Also very easy to park. Close to the port and giant’s chair.

Hidden Gem in Oaklands provides accommodation in Poraiti, Napier. The spacious, modern studio features garden views and your own private entrance. Lisa was so welcoming and friendly, she was the perfect host. The unit was immaculate and spacious, and very modern. There was even a rainhead shower option. Bed was comfortably firm and there is a heat pump in the room if needed. Breakfast was already prepared and included a variety of options. Highly recommended!

Dotato di un patio con vista sul giardino, di un giardino e di un barbecue, il mnm's bnb si trova a Napier, vicino alla spiaggia di Napier e a 2,1 km dal Mclean Park. Wonderful accommodation! Breakfast was extremely thoughtful and delicious. The whole stay exceeded our expectations. Views from the room are incredible, especially if you catch the sunrise. Location is great, can walk to centre of town. Do note: the driveway is very steep and long (it is a shared driveway for multiple houses) so walking back up may be difficult for some. This was our best accommodation in New Zealand. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks Maree and Mike (and Dougal)!
