The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. The room was a great size and super clean. Loved the whole property and location. We sat out the back at table and chairs before dinner and the view is spectacular of the church and scenery. The people serving us for dinner were wonderful and very friendly (quite young) but made it enjoyable and we asked them questions of where to go in the area. Loved the stay here.

Food was fresh and well presented. This is one of the friendliest country pubs we have stayed in. Ideal location and easy to access.

The Bower Inn is an 18th-century building, located just off the M5 motorway and 2 miles from Bridgwater town centre. It offers stylish rooms with luxury bathrooms and delicious homemade food. Great food, very good staff and a great shower a must after a day of travelling . Great parking and good atmosphere in bar. Breakfast was amazing

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Maplestone is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Shepton Mallet, 29 km from Bath Spa Train Station. Alan’s place was exceptional from the gardens, to the room, to the breakfast. We appreciate all the work that Alan puts into creating the great environment that simply leads to a perfect stay.

Greenlands Guest House, a property with a garden, is situated in Highbridge, 47 km from Ashton Court, 47 km from Bristol Zoo Gardens, as well as 48 km from Bristol Cathedral. As I have an eating problem the breakfast I had suited me 100% I cannot find fault with any thing, the location was just right for the purpose of my visit, although it was for one day only i cant wait to go back and stay longer, I would certainly recommend this Guest House to all my friends.

Boasting garden views, The Potting Shed, self contained, detached retreat in Shapwick village offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 44 km from Ashton Court. We absolutely loved everything! Since the first moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by Mathew, we felt at home. The potting shed is so lovely decorated, and it had everything we needed for a cozy stay. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, and the view of the room is so nice. I felt o could live there :) .. To finish our wonderful stay, breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! From homemade bread, to homemade muesli cereal!! And healthy salmon, eggs and fresh spinach from the garden!!! Mathew asked us if we wanted salmon or bacon, I felt this was very special that we could choose. The table was so beautiful decorated, even with a candle and a peaceful view to the garden. We enjoyed EVERYTHING! Also, we had great conversations and left full hearted! RECOMMEND 100 % and we’ll stay again if we come by in the future! Thank you, Mathew

Boasting a garden and a terrace, Huberts, West End Farm, Fosse Lane, Poolbridge Road, Blackford, Wedmore is situated in Blackford. A free private parking. West end farm was a very pleasant spot to enjoy the Somerset Levels. Local villages are accessible from Blackford. Little extras in the room were appreciated.

The Nog Inn has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Wincanton. Located around 30 km from Longleat House, the inn with free WiFi is also 49 km away from University of Bath. Great location, fantastic friendly staff and a lovely stay. Would come here again and great value for money!
