Offering a bar and mountain view, The Slaters Arms Corris is located in Machynlleth, 38 km from Clarach Bay and 17 km from Castell y Bere. Very nice place and modern. Rooms are very clean and new. Owner even offered to store my bike in the pub overnight. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Baskerville House, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Clyro, 48 km from Elan Valley, 6.1 km from Clifford Castle, as well as 13 km from Kinnersley Castle. All. We are not used to put a 10 but they deserve it. Welcoming was perfect, beautiful house and room also. Big car park and wonderful breakfast, with all homemade. Host also helped us to find where to eat in a good Welsh pub.

We arrived with the motorbike and even if we were out of dinner time the host was able to give us some great food! Amazing room, the bed were exceptional and the room very comfy and big! Great breakfast in the morning!

Location was way into the countryside - delightful setting, very rural, lots of birdsong and owls nesting close by at this time of year. Lovely to see a badger in the garden at night as well. This lovely haven is set in the heart of countryside with nice hilly walks close by and a fabulous view over the reservoir below. Host also has a camera set up in the very pleasant guest lounge for watching wildlife and he was very nice. Breakfast in a nice sunny conservatory (great granary bread). Room and bathroom spotlessly clean.
