Firstly, not a hotel. This place is an old 3 story house, but don’t let that turn you away. The house is excellent. The breakfast is soooo tasty. Tasty fresh eggs, and great full English breakfast. Best we have had so far on our tour of England. The rooms are cozy, the king bed was the most comfortable bed we have had so far. The shower had good pressure, and was steaming hot. The towels are large, thick and fluffy. Only a 12 minute walk to the city walls, it was great to get our ‘’steps’’ in. 🙂. The owner/manager was very accomodating and friendly. We parked on-site. A bit of a squeeze, but no complaints. The room we had was a king supreme room on the top floor. It was super quiet, and we had the best sleep so far on our road trip.

We, a couple from Germany, felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay at Hotspur House very much. Liz, our host, invited us to delicious homemade scones. Our room was comfortable and decorated tastefully. Breakfast was extraordinary. Liz helped us with finding nice places to dine and even arranged a booking for us. We can definitely recommend Hotspur House :-)

Bird In Bush Elsdon mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, teres dan restoran di Elsdon. The food was excellent, the shower was hot with pressure and the bed was comfortable.

A beautiful building, luxurious rooms, supporting the community by using local produce... Hens in the garden! Great staff, too - a spot-on balance of friendliness and professionality. If I'm ever in this part of the world again, I will happilly come back.
