Excellent bed and breakfast: everything was very clean and new. The owner was very friendly. They also serve dinner, very convenient since there are not many restaurants nearby. We stayed here 1 night on our way back to Holland from La Plagne. Close to the motorway, but situated in the countryside among the grapevines.

The breakfast was standard French continental, but that was as expected. It was a little way outside Cluny itself - easily walkable in principle, but unlit after dark. The view across the fields to the Abbey and the Burgundy hills was idyllic, but a little restricted from the bedroom itself. The Saint Lazare suite we had was beautifully furnished, and very reasonably priced. The on-site proprietors were very friendly and spoke very clear French.

The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was modern and very clean. Breakfast was very good. Host was generous to offer afternoon coffee, tea and snacks.

The property is within walking distance to the town center. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. The owner/host, named Fred, provided the best service during breakfast, which is served in a separate little kitchen area. He helped with dinner reservations before we arrived and offered to find a nearby place for laundry. Don’t hesitate to stay here! We’d gladly stay here again if we come back.

מקום האירוח Les Colas ממוקם בסן-פרז'ו, במרחק של 48 ק''מ מטירת ז’יאן, וכולל גינה, חניה פרטית בחינם וטרסה. We had an amazing stay with Linda, Toby and Nelly. A beautiful location for the house, a very warm and friendly atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the very relaxed but entertaining evening meal, starting with canapés in the garden, followed by 3 beautiful courses with a real emphasis on local ingredients and suppliers, plus one of the best cheese boards ever! The breakfast was exactly what we needed, fresh coffee and croissants, selections of cereals and so on. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was immaculate and comfortable, as was the entire property. Even the modern bathroom deserves a shout out, after a long drive a proper shower is always welcomed and this was no disappointment. Overall we can’t thank Les Colas enough for a great stay, with guests also from France and Germany at the table we had a really enjoyable exchange of stories and culture, of course some humour too. We hope to return in the not too distant future and would encourage anyone to stay there too, Guedelon being just up the road is perfect. Merci Beaucoup.
