Offering free private parking, the 4-star guest house is 1.5 km from Newcastle Showground. The guest house also offers facilities for disabled guests. We had not very high expectations as we booked that afternoon and we’re struggling for accomodation. We were welcomed by the owner, room was impeccable, choice of breakfast. It’s also at the older part of town which is more interesting. Very very pleased with all of it 😃😃

Grapevines Boutique Accommodation is located in Pokolbin, 400-metres from the main road. Cessnock City Centre is 15 minutes’ drive away. The family that own the business are so friendly and accommodating. A very quiet location and private also.

Situated on the edge of the Brokenback Mountain Range, Elfin Hill Vineyard Accommodation boasts a swimming pool and free on-site parking. All accommodation features a patio offering panoramic mountain and vineyard views. Marie and Mark went out of their way to make our holiday fabulous. Breakfast was excellent. Location is quiet with amazing views.

Each spacious room at this bed and breakfast is air conditioned and has a TV with free WiFi and internet streaming services including Netflix. A seating area is offered to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or patio are featured in certain rooms. Stunning views, gorgeous room. Lovely breakfast (continental). We had a fabulous welcome and were so well looked after by the lovely Gail. Inside you will find luxury inclusions, such as quality toiletries and cooked a la carte full breakfast is available to guests staying 2 nights or more. The atmosphere is like a magic place; the owners are amiable. The whole place is very beautiful and comfortable, so relaxing. I reserved a special dinner for two people; the food was fresh and delicious. You can taste the local ingredients. It is a perfect place to escape from a busy work life. They also have a huge shower and a bathroom with a jacuzzi.

All rooms feature a private balcony offering beautiful views of the vineyard and Hunter River. They come with an en suite bathroom and entertainment facilities such as a TV, DVD/CD player and a radio. Most rooms have a kitchen and a comfortable lounge area with a fireplace. Super relaxing place to stay. Set in a vineyard, with your own cabin it was peaceful in the extreme. You can walk around the vineyard, there are friendly animals (at the time of our stay there were dogs, a cow and a super friendly pig) to say hello to, or you can avoid them and swim in the pool. Close to the rest of the hunter wine region. Cabin was comfortable, and spacious.
