Our stay was wonderful! The owners were very nice and the room was perfect-bed comfortable and bathroom was updated. Breakfast was very good-the porridge was so tasty. Easy to access right off the main road and plenty of parking. We would definitely recommend to anyone who is planning a stay in Kilkee!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

John at Sycamore exceeded my expectations! I started to run the half marathon in Kilkee. John greeted me with tea and refreshments, had all the best recommendations for Kilkee and Ireland, and was absurdly kind. The breakfast in the morning was gourmet, delicious and beautiful. I recommend 100 percent. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

The breakfasts were hearty Irish fare, egg/bacon/sausage/toast/etc. Best in Cty. Clare. Our room was comfortable, roomy, with clean towels every night. Couldn't ask for more! Location is convenient to pubs and restaurants which are plentiful in Kilkee. Helen and Gerary are fantastic hosts.

Beautiful spacious room. Wonderful, attentive and friendly host. Great countryside location with excellent choice of dining facilities a 5 minute drive away. Well signposted off the main N67 route.

I didn't get to meet the hosts, as we arrived back at the property late in the evening and left early the next morning. However, they were very accomodating by letting us check in early that day to get ready for our wedding. Very close to the Doonbeg Hotel - if you are attending an event there, it is about a 10 minute drive. Lovely view of the sea from the house. The rooms were very warm on what was a cold winter's night in the west of Ireland - so this is a big plus! Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean. Breakfast isn't included, but if you are just looking for a bed/room to stay in, then this is very reasonable option for the price. I would happily stay again if in the area.
