It is very comfortable, the service is excellent, and being located in the main town of Orosi, you can visit the Tapantí Reserve, as well as other places. We will definitely be back!

Even though there is a shared kitchen and common space, it felt private and none of us needed to use the kitchen at the same time. People were respectful of our items in the refrigerator and cleaned up after themselves. I was surprised I slept so well, because I usually don’t on vacation.

Before we arrived I wondered if the drive was really worth for just one night. As soon as we got there I was sure that it was. The owner made us feel very welcome, cooked for us one of the best dinners we had on our trip and gave us a lot of insights into life at the finca and in Costa Rica in general. The place itself is lovely, decorated with a lot of love for details. And the view from the living room as well as our room was just stunning. If our plans had allowed, we would have loved to stay another night! Two things to keep in mind: First, the last 4 km of the road are gravel. We managed it just fine with our non-4x4 Hyundai Grand i10. We were there during the dry season and have experience taking roads like that. If in doubt ask the owner beforehand what condition the road is in. Second, the finca is at an altitude of about 1500 m. It can get pretty cool in the evening, night and morning, so bring long trousers and a jacket.

Beautiful craftsmanship, interesting design and a great location. We had a queen suite, very comfortable and a great view. The staff and owner were extremely nice.
