The York's Lookout Lodge Bed and Breakfast was excellent. My room was very comfortable and quiet. I had my own bathroom and also had my own, cosy, sitting area. The owners even provided a complimentary port to end the day. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly. I'd happily recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet stay in York.

We stayed bed and breakfast in April and would thoroughly recommend. Home cooked breakfast in the tea house was so quaint and comforting and our room was spotlessly clean. Good fresh fruit too. Might have been nice to have option to sit outside in outdoor area but then again the second morning it was wet! Location suited me very well too - could take a morning walk up to the lookout and it was just out of town so quieter in the evenings etc. Very thankful to be given the garage to park my motorcycle too.
