Loved the location and the rustic ambience. The attention to detail was superb and the fireplace was a welcomed feature with the cooler weather. The homemade bread was a treat.Highly recommend this as a place to stay and cannot fault it in any way .

The Stables provided 2 large queen bedrooms, a large bathroom (with an excellent shower) & kitchen/lounge/dining area. We didn't get to use the wood fire but it would be lovely & cosy in Winter. The outside area was lovely too. A nice spot to sit outside & enjoy the sun & some Barossa Valley wine!

We spent the evening chatting over his exceptional pizza and wine. The homestead is very clean, quiet and has all the amenities. The fridge was stocked with bacon, eggs, bread and all the extras needed for breakfast. It's a great location to base a weekend in the Adelaide Hills or Barossa Valley for an adventure. You will not be disappointed!

The accom was very clean and the bedrooms were large. Thoughtfully provided throw rugs mirrors etc which was greatly appreciated. Comprehensive instructions on how to use the facilities was great. Beds were warm, welcoming and comfortable and the linen, towels, pillows etc etc were all good quality. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend the accommodation with advice about the limitations I have noted below.

It is very comfortable and has all of the extras that you need for a memorable stay, including freshly baked bread and honey made on site. It is in a great location to explore the Barossa Valley and surrounding areas. Evelyn is a great host and made us very welcome.
