The apt is nicely appointed, with a well equipped kitchen in a cabinet (!!) and lots of little special treats left in the frig and cupboard to make life a little easier, AND much tastier. PLUS important during summer - it had AC!! The hosts were off-site, but answered email inquiries immediately and were very helpful. it was walking distance to a grocery and a couple of take-away fast food restaurants and only 10 minutes to one of the main squares in town. Lovely place to enjoy Deventer from!

One of the best apartments I've stayed. Located at an alley of the main street of Kampen, so perfect location and side views to the river. Apartment is cozy, tidy and with attention to details. Kitchen is just fine for a week, including coffe capsules and chocolate bars to welcome you. I really appreciate the quality of the beds. (2 single beds together) Fyi: there is a public parking just 5-10min walking from there, which solve the only problem of the location.

The café below is also delightful and all central to this beautiful town.

Featuring city views, Appartement Plek in Holten offers accommodation with a terrace and a kettle, around 2.6 km from Natuurdiorama Holterberg. The accommodation has free WiFi throughout the property.... Beautifully presented apartment with a very friendly host. Lots of little extras provided such as free hot drinks (bean to cup coffee machine), TVs in all rooms with streaming apps, plenty of towels etc. Great location, right on the main road with loads of cafes and bars nearby. Also very handy location for hiring bikes to explore the forest. Train station a five minute walk too with good links to Deventer, which is a beautiful town. We also likes the seating area outside on the street, we were lucky that there was some live music on on the Saturday night so we had great seats to enjoy the show.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. The B&B is ideally situated in a small, pretty town where all of the restaurants, cafes and the well-stocked local supermarket were accessible on foot. The national parks to the north and south of the town were the perfect place for exploration by bike. A wholly recommendable place to wind down for a few days. We intend to return in warmer weather to try out the boating facilities.
