The location was perfect, close to everything including the bus stop to continue our journey to Gouda. The house is on the main canal so it was very easy to find anything we wanted. The house itself is so charming and cute. It’s right on the corner so there are canals on three sides of the property. The decor of the house is so cute with lots of space. We enjoyed having a glass or two of wine outside by the canal. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Also very handy location for hiring bikes to explore the forest. Train station a five minute walk too with good links to Deventer, which is a beautiful town. We also likes the seating area outside on the street, we were lucky that there was some live music on on the Saturday night so we had great seats to enjoy the show.

The B&B is ideally situated in a small, pretty town where all of the restaurants, cafes and the well-stocked local supermarket were accessible on foot. The national parks to the north and south of the town were the perfect place for exploration by bike. A wholly recommendable place to wind down for a few days. We intend to return in warmer weather to try out the boating facilities.
