On the main road not too far from center a very cool place. Living in the clouds with fireflys and a fire place was amaizing expiriance. I really recommend this place for sure we will come back again!

The host and staff are the nicest people in Mexico not exaggerating! this place is super clean, includes towels, toiletries, drinkable water, communal kitchen, strong wifi that was never down! great security, and lucky enough to taste a local breakfast! house coffee every morning and a beautiful garden to drink in. walking distance to beach and tourist strip and local shops for groceries. this is living local to its finest. if you want an authentic experience and not a stuck up hotel, this is your place! fresh baked tortillas 10 meters away! A/C and a fan, desk and comfy work chair. kind host is so accommodating can get you what ever you need, taxi, directions etc. close to main road where you can catch the “collectivo” to head to the other beaches just 10 peso’s away so it’s nice to be in the centre here.

Pargo’s A&B Apartment is 5 minutes’ drive from Puerto Escondido city centre and 10 minutes’ drive from Zicatela Beach. Very nice location close to playa Carrizalillo and several restaurants and bars. Accomodation was spacious with good bed, kitchenette, large fridge, shower with hot water and a terrace with ocean and sunset views. Drinking was provided in the room. Great pool and outdoor shower to clean off the sand from the beach. Host family was super friendly and helpful. We would recommend.

One Love Hostal Puerto Escondido offers a place with a mixture of rustic and Mexican-style decoration only 150 metres from Zicatela Beach. The place is small with only a few rooms but with a lot of charm. It is an oasis in Puerto Escondido. we spent around 20 days in total in Oaxaca (in different places) and this one was probably one of the best hotels we stated in. We were surprised because it was probably one of our cheapest and we were not expecting what we found at all. The hotel is beautiful, really well decorated, super clean, the landscape is beautiful and well-kept. We loved staying there! they tell you before you arrive that payments are in cash and there’s no hot water (for us was no problem because it is really hot outside and you really appreciate it) but I don’t understand when people complain about this because it was part of their rules, and they disclose as soon as you make the reservation.

Punta Magica was the perfection I was looking for in a beach getaway - secluded bungalow with private pool, nestled away from the main tourist strip - definition of luxury, comfort, and tranquility. The large outdoor space with the giant palms, pool, and outdoor living room made this place truly magical and one of a kind. Inside, the bedroom was very spacious with a very comfortable king sized bed. The kitchenette was a nice added bonus - I was able to cook and enjoyed being able to make my own latte in the mornings with the expresso machine. Loved the outdoor shower! All the added amenities contributed to a very relaxing vacation. The location was walkable to the main road (if you want to jump on a collectivo truck/taxi to get around town, or a stroll away from the beach). Property manager Alejandro was an amazing and hospitable host and made sure our needs were met during our stay. Thank you!
