An authentic Scandinavian house, carefully renovated and filled with beautiful objects (dishes, etc) by kind and welcoming hosts, becomes this truly beautiful and peaceful place with all the comfort you need. Although we enjoyed slow days with the views from the house in the morning or evenings in front of the fireplace, you are well connected to the Lofoten for a day trip (ferry from Melbu) or nearby Stokmarknes with places to stock up on groceries or a floating sauna you can book. Bonus: if you are visiting at the right time of the year and are a bit lucky as well, you can see northern lights from the house or right behind.

Melbu Hotell is located in the small fishing village Melbu, centrally located in the Vesterålen and Lofoten regions. All rooms have a TV and free WiFi. Great place for the price. But the staff added a special touch to the place. It felt like I was visiting old friends who were really waiting for me, and not just staying at a hotel. Highly recommend!

Bø Huset is a holiday home located in Sortland in the Vesterålen Region and is 6.5 km from Hurtigruten Terminal Sortland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. Staying in a cabin such as Bo Huset was an excellent experience. On our road trip through northern Norway, we experienced hotels and lodges, but not a cabin. Nicely situated in the countryside, Bo Huset is a great place to stay in order to experience the area. And when you come home you will enjoy the silence. Compliments for the fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed preparing our meals. Compliments for contemporary art, which was created by the owner's family - extraordinary! Thank you for the warm welcome.
