Kyriad Carcassonne - Aéroport is located in Carcassonne within a 10-minute drive from the city centre and the medieval city. The staff went the extra mile for us......we were driving through southern France in a bright red FIAT 500 rental car in early December and this little hotel worked great for us. The hotel was almost empty because it was out of season but we got a nice room at a very inexpensive price. Then, the staff got up in the morning and made a lovely breakfast just for us.

It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi access. the staff were very friendly and welcoming, we had our dog with us and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was good, and it’s not far from the motorway for onward travel. I would definitely recommend this hotel if your on route and want a bed for the night.

Domaine du Prieuré Couvent & Presbytère offers villa accommodation located in Grèzes, a 10-minute drive from Carcassone. One villa is a former convent and the other is a former presbytery. Sabrina and Ben were fantastic hosts. Spacious property with everything we needed for a short stay. Home cooked dinner was great too, made it super easy.
