This guest house has been run by the same family since 1914 and located in a quiet but central location in Giebelstadt. Each room comes with a satellite TV and a private bathroom. We arrived quite late for an overnight stay and we were greeted warmly and although the restaurant was very busy they got us a table for dinner straight away. Dinner was super and very cheap for the quality. The meat was delicious and in the morning we noticed that there was a butchers next door, we think belonging to the hotel. Our room was perfect for an overnight stay. The corridor towards the room was a bit grubby and old fashioned so we were delighted when we opened our bedroom door. Bed was extremely comfy and everything else was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was superb. What a choice, lots of different meats and cheeses and hot boiled eggs. Delicious bread basket was brought to the table and a fab range of extras including fresh watermelon, various fruits, yogurts, jams and a range of local cakes was on the buffet table. We noticed that the lovely lady waitress was very nice to visiting children and we thought the buffet breakfast was very appealing to all ages. We had to be careful not to eat too much! We will certainly stay again and aim to arrive a bit earlier in the evening to enable us to have a more leisurely dinner. Thoroughly recommended.

We even got two single beds one by another, not one above another. Close by there is a big bakery that opens at 05.30 and offers a greats variety of breakfasts and really good rye bread sandwiches. We stay happiely again!

This holiday apartment is located in the Goßmannsdorf district of Ochsenfurt, set in beautiful Lower Franconian countryside and a 20-minute drive south of Würzburg. The hosts (they have great dining tips), the environment and the apartment. In summer the large balcony makes it a unique asset.
