Featuring a heated pool with water slide (seasonal), plus a hot tub and a sauna, this resort is just 700 metres from the shores of Lake Wanaka. Facilities include a cafe and bar, plus satellite TV in all rooms. This hotel was a gem. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was large, well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The laundry room was clean and always available, the pool and hot tub were very nice, and the hotel bar, happy hour and menu were great. Even with everything being so nice I would have to say the staff made our visit. They were helpful, accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our stay had everything we needed. We stayed there for three weeks and are already looking forward to going back. The location is ideal. Short walk to town but in a quiet setting.

The onsite South Eatery Restaurant offers local produce and wines with a stunning atrium and panoramic views. The view from the room was incredible! I laid in the bed and I could see the mountains and the lake. Beautiful! The hotel is on Fernhill, silent place, and 30 mins walk from the centre. The staff was helpful. There is guest laundry opportunity for 10 NZD. That worked perfectly.
