Offering elegant apartments and an independent chalet, all with panoramic views across Monte Rosa and Colle Ranzola mountains, Villa Fridau resort is set in a mountainous area 1.5 km outside Gressoney-Saint-Jean centre. A great place, with very nice rooms, great staff (Paola gave us perfect service and was very helpful and kind), and beautiful surroundings. We have enjoyed the spa at a very convenient rate and our visit was really memorable. Thanks!

The family-run Camping & Resort Margherita provides a shuttle to the ski lifts during the winter season. Ski equipment and bikes are available to rent. Parking is free. A very nice camping site, with a few convenient cabins. Convenient access to the main road and the a small grocery store. Reasonably priced, and cost efficient.

Au Coeur Des Neiges is in Courmayeur, a 2-minute walk from the ski lift to Plan Checrouit and a 10-minute walk from the centre. It offers a free wellness centre and spacious accommodation with warm Alpine-style furnishings. Beautiful, peaceful place. Delicious breakfast next to the fire. The staff are welcoming and professional but not overbearing.

The Saint Hubertus in Cervinia offers beautiful views of the Alps and the Matterhorn. Free parking and free transfers to ski lifts and the village centre are available.

Offering ski-to-door access, a terrace and free Wi-Fi throughout, Hotel lo Stambecco is located directly on the ski slopes of Plan Maison and is surrounded by mountains. It can be reached through a cable car leaving from Piazzale Funivie. Great location, we loved to be the first ones skiing on the resort in the morning. Clean and warm room (with furniture from the 70s). We grabbed a last-minute deal, which was really convenient considering all the services included (dinner and breakfast included, 30 min spa, lift to the resort, discount with the rental shop), I don't know if I would have booked it at "full price". Food was good, in line with the star rating of the hotel, you can't expect a gourmet dinner but the quality and variety was good.
