Whitsunday Sands Resort is uniquely located on its own private peninsula, by the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It offers all guests private access to 2 separate, magnificent beaches. It was a comfortable stay for the purpose of our trip (stayover en route from Townsville to Mackay). The room would have been too small for a longer stay with my children of 16+. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful location. Parking close to accommodation.

Went the extra mile for Easter with easter eggs and hot cross buns. Loved how quirky the accom was and also that the staff had turned the air conditioning on so the room was nice and refreshing. Awesome that complimentary bug spray and an umbrella was provided too

BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort is located in Airlie Beach, 4.1 km from the main street and Abell Point Marina. We loved our stay at this resort, it was great value and one of our favourite places we’ve stayed so far in Australia! We had our own little cabin which felt like a little home, and it was lovely and quiet, really kind gesture of free TimTams in our fridge too, there was lots for families to do but it was amazing for us as a couple too. we’re now looking at other BIG4s to stay in!

The apartment was incredibly spacious for the four of us, highly recommend this for a family stay.

Set within 400 metres of Catseye Beach, the 3-bedroom Poinciana 112 features a private balcony offering views of the Whitsunday Islands. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. The balcony is large and the view is spectacular. Loved watching the wildlife especially the wallabies feeding below the balcony every evening. Maree was very easy to communicate with.

Surrounded by rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, Elysian Retreat is a 3 hectare private cove. I absolutely loved our stay at Elysian, everything was perfect. The staff in particular were always going above and beyond, personal customer service. I barely saw my glass empty, very attentive. In particular a big thank you to Lily and Tracey thank you for making our stay so comfortable and making our trip to the Whitsundays come true. The food was incredible, forever changing menu. The helicopter transfer was also a highlight.

Surrounded by 160 acres of rainforest, Seclude Rainforest Retreat offers peaceful accommodation with a private hot tub and a large balcony overlooking the valley. The place was beautiful and relaxing the spa was perfect bed was comfy the shower was massive being near the waterfall was amazing and the drive was beautiful
