The place is warm and cosy. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was excellent. We specifically asked for a room with a balcony and that is what we got.

Beautiful boutique hotel with a character in a quiet green area. Rooms are nicely designed and very clean. Cosy common area with a fireplace downstairs. The host is extremely friendly and accommodating. Tasty breakfast with locally produced ingredients. Definitely have to follow host’s advice for dinner place - very local simple place with small menu but food food so delicious and fresh!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and it was the best dinner we had at a restaurant in three week's Portugal (other hotels also had great restaurants but this one was also very affordable for the quality we got). The breakfast was rather intimate and this small hotel cannot offer big buffets like a bigger hotel but it was still among the best breakfasts we had in three weeks in Portugal because it had enough variety and top quality. The terarace and pool have great views. We had a big room which was perfect for us as a family of four.

Architecture was perfect, solid buildings, design of room. The atmosphere was great. The staff was excellent, friendly, sincere, welcoming, and always willing to help. Seeing the beautiful horses galloping next to the room was truly amazing. Breakfast in the dining room was filled with fresh fruits from the farm and great tasting breads. Dinner was amazing with terrific wines from the farm both full bodied and light. Even the vegetarian options were perfect.

I think it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we were greeted with a porto tonic, to an amazing dining experience and everything else in between - it was perfect. It's a bit of a ride up the hill to reach the hotel but once you are there you will be surprised why you've never came there before. Peaceful, beautiful and you can tell everything in there has been done with love to every detail.

There was an issue with WiFi in my room and it was responded to quickly and effectively. Food. Absolutely wonderful. The dinner menu at 40 Euros is a bargain... apertif, amuse boche, breads, starter, soup, main, dessert, and coffee. The food is well prepared and the portions are ample. I note the size of portions is much better than a previous stay seven years ago. Room. I stayed in the suite and love its ambience. Snacks. From 4 PM to 6 PM there is a selection of snacks... sweet and savory. They are diverse and change every day.

The owners are super friendly and always taking care of you. You can park the car in front of the house (it’s a small village so no problem with the parking). Room is comfortable and really calm to sleep well. It has a patio outside where you can eat, read or relax your self. Fantastic breakfast with plenty of local products like fruits, cheese, etc...
