Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. If you are going to stay in Longyearbyen this is the only hotel to stay in. Great atmosphere and so comfortable. Excellent breakfast and good service from the hotel. I first stayed here 17 years ago and I am still visiting.

Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. My daughter and I stayed there 5 nights while we explored Svalbard. Everything about this place was great. The staff were very helpful and kind. The location is great for the short walk to the centre. The breakfasts were fabulous in a room filled with plants. We really liked that tea and coffee were available all day. The common lounge was comfortable and relaxing. We cooked for ourselves a couple of nights and found the kitchen to be well stocked. The bathrooms were conveniently located with great showers.

Radisson Blu Polar Hotel is the northernmost full-service hotel in the world, located in Longyearbyen. We stayed here for 6 night and could not have made a better choice. Everything is perfect, the staff has been extremely helpful with all we needed. I truly believe that if you want to stay in Longyearbyen there is no better option than this. The hotel also has a souvenir shop, which also provides winter gloves (same products for cheaper than any shop in town) and a lot of other goodies (including postcards) to remember this unique destination. In the hotel you can also find a pub that is open until 2 AM and a restaurant. However, if you want to try other restaurants, the hotel is walking distance (like 200m) from the mainstreet, as well as from most of the attractions. Totally will be here again!

Hotel Svalbard & Lodge se nahaja na osrednji lokaciji v mestecu Longyearbyen. Everything was wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is warm, cozy, and rustique. Great room. Comfy bed, bathtub, great coffee in the room. Clean everywhere. Great food in the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Love this hotel! Very boutique with wonderful service. You would not expect to find a place like this in a small town like Longyearbyen. We have stayed here many times and each time it has met our expectations. Check out the wine cellar, WOW!
