Featuring a garden and lake views, Preikestolen BaseCamp is located 3.7 km from The Pulprit Rock, and is the starting point for the hike towards the mountain plateau. Me and three friends visited to do Preikestolen, very happy with our stay.

Located in Stavanger, 2.6 km from Stavanger University Hospital, Clarion Hotel Energy features a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi throughout the property. The staff were great, friendly, and respectable to us and our dog. The breakfast is phenomenal. Shout out to Aree for being kind to our dog, the doorman who helped us when we locked ourselves out, and the Polish guy at the breakfast making great omelets :)

Situated in Stavanger’s harbour area, this hotel offers modern rooms with free WiFi access and a flat-screen TV. Stavanger Old Town is within 10 minutes’ walk of the hotel. The position is at 10 minutes walk from the main bay , but it's still in the city centre. All around there are thousands shops, bars, pubs. Also it was very well connected by bus. Room was big enough for me alone , with also a sofa. I loved the gym. Breakfast was like an Italian wedding, there was food for every taste.

Situated in central Stavanger, this hotel occupies a great harbour-side location. It offers free Wi-Fi, a complimentary breakfast buffet and stunning views of the Vågen Fjord. The property is right opposite to the port so gives a view of the ships coming in and go. The rooms are not very spacious but clean and the staff were very friendly. So no complains. 3 meals were included and it was great. Lot of restaurants near by. We stayed there so that we could hike to Pulpit Rock and the staff have in all the info.

Grand Hotel Egersund is 100 metres from the waterfront in the heart of Egersund. It offers free Wi-Fi, private parking and a large terrace. Lovely hotel right in the centre of town. Really nice staff and great breakfast - lots of choice and nice quality, nicely presented. My room was really nice with a great rain shower wet room.

This waterfront hotel is situated in a Victorian-style building, dating back 1900. Hotel Victoria is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Stavanger Train Station. We loved great location in the centre of Stavanger. As a bonus we got upgrade of room. Breakfasts were various and tasty.

The 21-floor Thon Hotel Stavanger Forum is located in Stavanger, 200 metres from Rogaland Art Museum. It offers rooms with modern furnishings and free internet access. I have selected a family room which is much larger in size than basic rooms. Room size was amazing. The windows were very large which was great. Prices were on the cheap side unlike my other experiences with norway hotels. Breakfast was exptional and offered too many selections. Parking was on the cheap side as well 120KR/day. Hotel staff were very friendly and overall nice. Hotel offers free coffee around the clock.

Just 200 metres from Stavanger Train Station and 500 metres from the harbour, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi access in all areas. All rooms include a minibar and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Amazing, very complete with everything you need for a time in the city. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve had so far in a hotel.

Situated 800 metres from Stavanger Central Station, is Frogner House - Sirkus Renaa. Guests can enjoy rooms with satellite flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. The house is really beautiful!
