This was by far my favorite experience in Cambodia. Living with this amazing family was so exciting! Now, you can’t be expecting luxury, 5 stars etc, but when you’re ready to fully dive into a local family’s life & home, then look no further. Pov and his wife & kids are so welcoming & kind and try their best to make your stay perfect. I didn’t have time to do big jungle treks, so instead, Pov took me around the area, visiting the best spots, and let me hang out with him and his friends in the evenings! Him and his wife also made sure I wasn’t starving, and even cooked vegan meals for me. I loved my time here and would definitely come back! Maybe in the future! Choul mouy my friend!

The owner is one of the most honest people you will find. He can connect you with any adventures you like and make sure that you will be dealing with the best, most honest people for your activities. His wife is a great cook.

Berlokasi 4,5 km dari Yeak Laom Lake, Bee Bee's Chalets home stay and trekking menawarkan akomodasi dengan balkon dan WiFi gratis. Bee Bees Chalet is a true homestay where the family live in the same wooden chalets as the guests. The 3 children are adorable as are the parents. The oldest son - BeeBee speaks fluent English as does Nita, the mother. The evening meals were excellent. This was our first stop in Cambodia so we were a bit taken a back by the cold showers and no air con but it was absolutely fine. They organise all sorts of trips. We did the boat trip which was good fun especially as BeeBee joined us. We learnt so much about Cambodia from this lovely family.

Crazy affordable and with service that beats any 5 star hotel I've stayed in. It was simply a joy to stay there.

Mr T and his family and friends are so kind and welcoming! This local stay was amazing to experience some of the Cambodian culture. Everything was perfect, it’s the place to be in Ratanakiri! Lovely hosts - they kept in touch with me on the day of my arrival and offered to pick me up from the bus station. The property is situated a bit outside the central town area, which gives it a really tranquil and peaceful countryside atmosphere without being too far away from amenities. Depending on the weather the lake and shops are walkable but you'd be wise to consider renting a moto (the owner offers tuktuk rides as well). You can enjoy a spacious deck/terrace overlooking the forested hills around the Boeng Yeak Lake. Rooms are simple, modest but clean and with all the essentials you'd want - a comfy bed, mozzie net, a fan and an outlet close to the bed. Hosts speak English and the lady managing the property is a good cook - you can enjoy a range of dishes, including vegetarian options and fresh local fruit without having to go anywhere. All at reasonable prices. Moto rental, various trekking or even bus transfer options can be arranged as well. All in all really enjoyed my stay.
