Dating back to 1209, this impressive Gothic castle is set within a stunning 650 acres of parkland and forests. This is truly an amazing place, staff empowered and engaged, the surrounding trails within 200 yards of the castle are just out of this world. I cannot recommend this location more. Just a great experience all round.

Great pub about 100m away (They draw a great pint of Guinness if you are so inclined). Kitty's is set in Tullamore, 200 metres from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre and 12 km from Kilbeggan Racecourse. The property is 14 km from Ballard Farm. A quaint original Irish style home with just enough to make you feel welcome and at home!

I was welcomed by Geraldine, who greeted me with a cup of tea and a chat, making me feel at home right from the start. My room was immaculately clean with a spacious ensuite bathroom. TV had lots of channels including Netflix and there is also tea/coffee and biscuits available outside your room if you wish to make use of them. The breakfast was delicious and guests have ample choice of fruit,cereal or a cooked meal. Enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it.
