The hotel has an ideal location on the West bank that makes it easy to visit the Valley of the Kings and many other ancient sites. It is a very tranquil property with breath-taking views of the Nile and Luxor on the far bank. The hotel boat service to cross the Nile to Luxor town works extremely well. The architecture of the hotel is stunning and the individual rooms are very well designed with interesting original furnishings. The breakfast is excellent with fresh coffee and eggs. The dinner menu changes every day and offers a good choice of seasonal dishes. Most nights we dined at the hotel. The hotel does not sell alcohol, but you can bring in your own. Dr Marina is an excellent host, who makes you feel very welcome. She clearly knows how to organize and run a hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Djorff Palace has a relaxed atmosphere and Marina enjoys chatting and sharing her experiences in Egypt and beyond.

It overlooks the River Nile and is just 100 metres away from the Luxor Temple. everything was perfect!!! awesome garden with flamingo ! breakfast was so delicious. stuff friendly and professional. room was warm and clean.

Hrana je odlična, še zlasti v italijanski in libanonski restavraciji. Pogled na Nil je dih jemajoč. Vse osebje hotela je iskreno prijazno - od recepcije, sobarjev, nosačev prtljage do natakarjev in zaposlenih na bazenu. Po prijaznosti želim izpostaviti Abdullaha v italijanski restavraciji in Ahmeda v El habushu ter kuharja Yehya v El habushu, ki pride do vsake mize v restavraciji in goste vpraša, kako so zadovoljni s hrano. Njihova prijaznost ni narejena, ampak je pristna. Omeniti moram še SPA center, kjer sva dvakrat koristila masažo. Tudi SPA center je urejen in čist. Maserja Gabel in Mona sta odlična, masirata pošteno celoten čas, ki je za masažo dogovorjen. Na tem mestu naj omenim še Mina, ki naju je prepričal, da sva SPA center sploh obiskala.

Hassan is an incredible person who genuinely cares about his guests and tries to make them happy in every possible way. This is a kind of place where you artive as a guest and leave as a friend. Hassan's commitment to his guests is truly inspiring. He is always available for any questions and advice, and yet is always diplomatic and soft-spoken. Hassan also has a great sense of humour and talking with him is always a delight, in addition - his English language skills are fantastic. The hotel is located near the ferry dock and sees quite a bit of traffic - you are going to experience a real part of Luxor. It is a great place to stay for independent travellers who are looking for an authentic experience without tourist crowds. The rooms are basic, but super clean and very spacious, the linen and towels are all clean and fresh; the beds, pillows and blankets are very comfortable as well. You also have a very kind employee Mohammed to look after you - he is always helpful, attentive, and does a great job keeping everything clean and safe. The price for this place is also excellent. The hotel has a large rooftop terrace for sweeping views over the Nile. This is also where a lunch bufet is available frim 11a.m. to 3 p.m. We tried the food there, and were also very happy with the selection, price, and attitude. Yes, we were VERY happy with this hotel team, and could HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to those travellers who appreciate a genuine local hospitality!

Our stay was amazing and made us feel truly at home! The host is very friendly, prepared some delicious local food and shared all the local stories. Really special, quiet place to immerse with the local life, with an amazing view from a rooftop!

Luxor Old Nile Hotel features a restaurant, bar, a garden and private beach area in Luxor. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service, free WiFi and parking space. The hotel is perfectly located, in the west bank. The food is great and the room very original. In addition you will meet Mustapha, the owner. A very (very) nice person, he will treat you as family. You're more than a guest here. I had the chance to meet his family and go to a party or also see a wedding in the village thanks to him. He also organized me a tour and didn't hesitate to help us for the pick-up and drop off at the airport. Don't hesitate to go there! See you soon and thanks for everything

Staff, location, 5 stars hotel. All staff are super friendly. The manager Saeed is wonderful, made my stay, transportation and trips so easy. I really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Located directly next to Madinet Habou Temple, Nour El Balad is located in Luxor. Wi-Fi access is available. It offers mud brick houses with cosy and traditional rooms nestled in a palm grove. We stayed in with kids a had amazing time. The host are perfectly nice and helpful. The house is like from a fairytale, simple but beautiful. Very calm area. Fair prices for trips and great food on demand cooked the traditional way. 100% recommendation! Kids loved it too.

Surrounded by landscaped gardens, Al Baeirat Hotel is located on the banks of the Nile. Featuring a swimming pool, a shopping arcade and a 24-hour front desk that offers ironing services. This is a lovely place with spectacular views over the Nile. The rooms are in very nice separate bungalows, which provides privacy and quiet, and the pool is lovely. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel provides free boat transfers across the Nile on demand. On one night there was a free one-hour sunset cruise which was a very nice touch. They also organised a sunrise balloon ride which was magical.
