We have stayed in numerous 5 Star hotels around the world over the last many years and we have never experienced anything like The Fontenay. It is very luxurious, elegantly decorated and has a charming and very welcoming atmosphere with very attentive and professional staff. The location is fantastic right at the beautiful Alster lake. In short it was a magical experience. We shall definitely come back. Thank you all at The Fontenay for making our stay with a truly memorable experience.

Love this hotel, been traveling to Hamburg for years, and happy to say it is still constantly good after not being their since 2019. Staff are well trained, hotel is clean and well run.
