I feel very happy to stay in this place, the hotel is quite new and clean, comfy, I also like the location as it sits in a quiet street with only a few steps away the main busy street. Especially I would recommend the owner family coz they have been very hospitable all through my trip time and I felt really enjoyable about all around of the stay here.

As a family-run hotel, the service was personal and attentive. The location was absolutely perfect - the bigger and more expensive hotels are further away from the mountain and offer no view of it, and while they offer shuttle services up, the short walk to the mountain is a great experience in and of itself. The owner helped us book a shuttle from the train station to the hotel as well. The rooms were recently renovated when we stayed, with a nice shower stall (which was necessary after the mountain climbing!) and comfortable beds. All amenities one would generally need are included. While there is no elevator, there are only a few floors and the owner carries the luggage up. For the price, an excellent choice.

The hotel is located in Tangkou, in a 10 minute walk to the South gate entrance to Huangshan mountain. We loved the area and the village, all very calmly and authentic. The staff were more than helpful! They spoke English very well, what it's really hard to find in China. We arrived by bus and they came to pick us up to the station. They also provided lots of info on the mountains and the options we had and they helped to arrange for a shared car for some excursions. The room was very comfortable and clean. We can only recommend it and hope to come back some day because our stay was really brilliant.
