Desert Palms is a 3.5-star property offering individual studio villa accommodation, surrounded by tropical gardens and set around a crystal clear swimming pool with island and waterfall. Well located, very calmy, close to the city centre just 20 minutes footwork. Was swimming in the pool every morning. Kitchen is well equipped tonight you can sit in front of your house and watch the stars. Kindly recommended: walk to the near locatated botanical garden, to the Anzac Hill to get an overview on the town. I recommend a visit to the historic telegraph office and the flying doctor service and book a tour to the West McDonald ranges.

This is not big hostel and it’s like big house. So everyone is very friendly and nice vibes. Owner is also nice. When I asked something, he responded quickly and solved problem. I wish I stay long term. It must be fun.

Stayed here on two occasions; 3 nights and later one night. Great location right next to supermarkets, restaurants and other shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. Car parking in a secure compound is great. The facilities provided are great. Overall a great place to stay in Alice Springs.

But, the room was surprisingly nice. Comfortable bed, good bath and shower, private enclosed parking area if you are lucky to get a spot.
