What can you say. This is in the middle of no where. It’s not just accomodation, it’s a destination. It has the lot, excellent accommodation at an exceptional price, connected to a pub that has the best atmosphere with staff that genuinely make you feel like part of the community and on top of that excellent food at an excellent price. Well done Bororen. This will be our must stay destination on our next long trip from the north of Queensland to the south.

Best place for a stop during a long trip. The value for what you get is unmatched to anything I've experienced. Geoff was so welcoming and friendly and was obviously passionate about the motel. The room was clean to perfection, bed and linen very comfortable, and a bonus recliner lounge to enjoy tv. Both bedroom and bathroom were spacious and modern. A bench in the wall was handy for storing luggage on or underneath, and could be used as a desk if you needed to work on a laptop during your stay. Huge tv with apps to watch a few streaming services if you have an account. Fan and aircon too. I booked online to ensure I could have a room and not be stuck alone as it got dark and I was tired, so the rate was great. But after researching it was also the best rate of anywhere for hours either direction! The location right on the highway made it so easy to drive in and drive out during my trip. My room was closest to the road and I could hear the highway but wasn't phased by it, I still had a great sleep in the lovely clean and comfortable room. Recommend the Bororen motel to everyone for any reason! Location, facilities, staff, comfort, cleanliness. Amazing.

Access to unit from hotel reception all undercover with book exchange on offer a nice touch. Hotel dining had very good choices with specials. Service was quick and efficient and reasonably priced. Hotel off main highway with railway line on the other side of highway, noise from both was not an issue. I would certainly recommend hotel/motel as an excellent stopover.

Bororen is approximately halfway and allows us to break up the 1,000km trip. The rooms are always well-maintained and quiet. A stand out feature is the attached restaurant for dinner at night. Easy parking, comfy bed, good shower and being so close to the hotel was a bonus for dinner and drinks before bed. Staff were welcoming. A great place to stay if you need a rest while travelling.
