Take a walk around the riverside, and marvel at the size of the base of the bridge. Also look for the inspirational trees growing on the cliffs of New Farm, and the cool looking cells in the cellars of the old buildings on the City river side. I got to stay at a hotel right next to story bridge recently...
I got to stay at a hotel right next to story bridge recently and without even knowing the bridge existed i was blown away by how magnificent it looks especially by night. The city of Brisbane has out done itself by its choice to light up the night skies with this pimped out bridge. The apartment was big enough for the five of us and spacious enough for the makeup artist and hairdresser to get us ready. The spacious balcony was great and although it was fairly noisy with the surrounding apartments and work being carried out on the cross-river rail, the partial views of the river and the Story Bridge were lovely, and with the balcony doors closed it was pretty sound proof.Carolyn HindsAustralia

Nothing was a problem for them. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable! Blackout curtains were awesome and ensured the rooms was dark enough to sleep well into the morning if I wanted too ;) Location is awesome! Even though I had a car, I walked everywhere and caught a free ferry from story bridge into Southbank and the city and then walked back to the hotel. Parking was provided with the room which was such a massive help.

Brilliant location, beautiful river views from the large balcony, and the colourful lights of the Story Bridge at night. It's a 100mts from the river board walk. We went on walks along the river every day, hopped on the free City Hopper ferry to Southbank. We went on short walks on the boardwalk to restaurants for brunch, and Felons Winery for dinner.
