Located in Mae Sot, Mae Sot Commune features a garden, shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property. I liked that everyone was like family, despite our first time meeting one another. Mike the owner, shared many things with me, along with the other roommates in the commune. Everyone was lovely and I didn't regret my visit there, because it gave me an insight on what it's like to stay in a commune, to see how people around were living and working to earn a living. Despite the price, Mike even provided a mosquito net for my bed and yeah I didn't get bitten one bit 😂 I had good night's sleep till I almost overslept; thanks to the rooster outside for the morning wake-up call. It was a memorable experience! Thank you very much to Mike and team, for the hospitality and for the great sharing session. It was lovely. ❤️

Well situated in the centre of Chiang Mai, Green Sleep Hostel offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The hostel is perfectly located. Everything was in walking distance but nevertheless the hostel was calm, and you can get decent sleep. They provided daily fruits, free water and coffee. The staff is absolutely friendly, and the rooms and the bathrooms are very clean. The also offer really lovely tours.

Situated in Chiang Mai and within 500 metres of Tha Pae Gate, Comfort Zone Hostel @ Tha Pae has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. It was in a very convenient location the hosts were kind hearted people I will definitely stay here again. I live an hour away from Chiang mais and often come on the weekends and before coming I saw the exceptional reviews. Luckily when I got there it was only me and one another lady staying in the room so that was perfect.

Excellent staff, they help you to organize your visit, tips , recommendations etc. They assisted renting a motorbike and booking some excursions. Nice commo areas where you can meet more people.

Situated conveniently in the centre of Chiang Mai, HUG Backpackers offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. This is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in in Thailand! Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Great Location in nimman area, walking distance to super market like Macro, good restaurants, cafes. I stayed in the dorm also equipped with refrigerator and microwave inside.

Featuring a shared lounge and a terrace, T2B Hostel is located in the centre of Chiang Mai, 300 metres from Chiang Mai Gate. The bed is comfortable, great location to access the old town. The host Sky is exceptional, she will help you with anything you need. There is a few times I am back when Sky's family was having dinner, they always invite me to join them, they are very warm and helpful.

Friendly staff and facilities were clean and quiet. Higher beds were tricky to get into with the ladder design, but both the sleeping pods and the secure storage areas were quite spacious. Lock was provided!

Conveniently located in the centre of Chiang Mai, Ed Hostel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. A nice clean cut modern interior design. Facilities were excellent, staff were amazing and so helpful. Rooms were well sized, everything in good working condition. Beds, pillows and duvet sets were so clean and fresh. Cute little cat to greet you at reception. Snacks and hot drinks available when you want at a self service area. Washing machine and dryer facilities too. The staff also have connections to local coffee shops where you can get a free drink from being a guest at Ed Hostel!
