At the hostel, the rooms come with a wardrobe. At Hammocks - Hamacas, all rooms include air conditioning and a shared bathroom. No complaints! It's basic but well-run. Joshua speaks good English and provided details for a 3 day tour of the desert - also recommended. The hammocks were strong and comfortable.The air conditioning works, there are lockers (bring your own padlock), a courtyard with chairs for socialising, and the beach is a very short walk away. I stayed here twice.

Staff was kind, friendly and supportive! We had three choices of breakfast, which was included in cost of staying and every time breakfast was delicious. Coffee and water provided during all day. Kitchen was well equipped and available for visitors to cook. Our room was very comfortable with bed tables, side benches, a few hooks, a wall fan. It was easy to organize our stuff and still have neat room. They provided daily cleaning service of the room if you wish. The hostel was well maintained and very clean. They use sola panels. So, we had power in our rooms when whole town lost it. Location is great as well. In center of everything, but a little away from the main road. We did not have noise. Highly recommended!

Hostal La Media Luna Palomino is located among the scenic trees and plants of Palomino and only 1 km away from the nearest beach. The open-air hostel offers a shared lounge.

Ceiling fans and mosquito nets are featured in the hostel. The open-air environment allows guests to easily observe the surrounding landscapes from their rooms. A straw roof covers wood ceiling beams. Stone sinks and showers are provided in the communal bathroom. La Media Luna was my favorite place to stay in Palomino. Palomino can be hot, dusty, noisy and touristy. Juan (the owner) has created a space that is cooling, clean, peaceful and homey. He is one of the nicest people I've met anywhere in all my travels. My girlfriend and I felt comfortable going into Palomino and getting sweaty and sandy, knowing that we were coming back here where we felt at home. Like all places in Palomino make sure to bring bug spray for the evening mosquito hours, have the homemade Panela tea with breakfast, spend time in the perfectly placed hammocks, give the dogs some belly rubs, and enjoy the lushness of the pool area. At the hostel all rooms are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen. Genius owner, solarpanel connected to the wifi and fridge, so even if electricity goes in town, you still have wifi. Very helpful

Rancheria Utta is located in Cabo de la Vela. It is a simple property that offers a private beach area, restaurant and a small market on site.

The dormitories are functional and offer the guests a single bed and shared bathrooms. we libre all the experience, the people, they had vegetarian food and that was amazing. all the place full recommended

About a 10 minute walk from the beach. Had a nice pool and bar on the roof. Was a great, chilled place to stay for one night before seeing more of La Guajira
