Selina Magnetic Island showcases open-air building designs and communal spaces for guests. The social area and bar are set up well: open yet inviting. The design and layout look similar to many of the other Selina locations throughout the world.

Featuring free WiFi, a year-round swimming pool and a barbecue, CStay is located on Magnetic Island in Picnic Bay, 9 km from Townsville. Rooms come with a shared bathroom. The room was clean, good air conditioner, good bbq and swimming pool area. The manager is very kind and he gave us good information about the area and tourist points.

Nomads Magnetic Island hostel is situated on the beach of Magnetic Island, only 20-minutes by ferry from Townsville. The hostel was clean and the staff had amazing energy about them and all of them were very friendly and happy to talk to you. There’s a bar on site which serves reasonable priced drinks (for Australia) and they held a trivia night with prizes. the bar is also 5-10 meters from the beach.
