Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort is 7 minutes' drive from Cairns city centre and a local bus service available on the doorstep (fees apply) for guests. It is a 5-minute drive to Cairns Golf Course and 12 minutes’ drive to Cairns Pier.

The facilities were fantastic. There are so many things for kids to do, literally something for everyone and every age. They never got bored! The park was so beautiful and picturesque and spotless! My kids cried when we left, in their words, "The best place ever!".

Location is excellent and opposite the major shopping centre “Cairns Central”. Easy walking distance to the Casino - Lagoon - Night Markets - Library - Reef Terminal and Rusty’s Market. Kitchen and cooking facilities are awesome with loads of fridge space and cook tops. The community shelf for all to share and enjoy is an excellent idea. Swimming pool a relaxing place to rest and soak up the Queensland sun. The friendliness and helpfulness of the reception and housekeeping staff is what makes a great place home away from home.

The grounds are great and it’s a perfect place for a family holiday with playground, swimming pools and places to eat. We particularly enjoyed having the choice of the large swimming pool where the children (6&8) had lots of fun and a quieter, small and beautifully landscaped pool near our room where we all enjoyed early morning swims.

Cleanness: Very clean and well organised. Location: Hotel located in premium location with easy access to everything you need such as pier, restaurants, parks. Breakfast: Overall variety was excellent (juices, omelette, breads, fruits). Loved honey comb idea though. Entertainment: Gym, swimming pool, spa was really good.

Excellent location! Many restaurants around and other entertainments too. Breakfasts are quite good, there was a good choice of food , however coffee was awful . We liked the swimming pool , our kid was enjoying it every day. There is also a bar , right in the swimming pool area, which is nice. Our bed linen was changed every day. Room service (meals to the room) was quite quick .

The general vibe of the hotel was amazing. Very Family Holiday resort feel. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again. It was handy after a long night of flying that there was dinner and drinks onsite. Also vending machines with easy access snacks. Rooms were dated but extremely clean.
