The Aram Yami Hotel Boutique, with only 6 exclusive suites, is set in a Baroque-style building from the 19th century, the Aram Yamí offers exclusively furnished accommodations, 2 pools, and panoramic... Excellent hotel, in my opinion located in the perfect spot of the city (San Antonio), very close to Pelourinho but still outside the busy center. The view from the hotel is stunning and the staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. Highly recommended.

Perfect in every way .being a small hotel made it comfortable. The room was a good size with spacious opening windows, good breakfast delivered to the room, comfortable beds and good hot water. helpful andfriendly staff made the stay even more enhance, half way up the hill (not too steep) but cafes and shops everywhere ,, up hill for more vibrant less pushy ones. Salvador is a great place and we had an excellent 3 days there

Set in a colonial building from the 18th century in the Pelourinho district, this boutique hotel provides personal attention in several languages. Could not have had more accommodating and friendly owners and staff. Truly wonderful people made the experience even better!

Rubio was the best manager , she was always there for us , greeted us with a great smile , if you wanna feel the heart of Salvador , feel the music and the warmth of the people this is definitely the place to stay.

It’s in a cosy neighborhood close to the historical center. Good beds and airconditioning. The breakfast was great with a lot of fresh fruit and homemade cake. Claudio was very friendly and helped with everything. Thanks!

The staff was extremely friendly and the locations was exceptional in the old town, but still extremely quiet for sleeping. The building itself was so beautiful and showed an attention to detail. They also organized a really good tour guide for us.

Pousada Esmeralda is located 700 metres from Pelourinho Historical District and 2.5 km from central Salvador. The pictures don't do the pousada justice, it's beautiful. The pousada is in an old house that has been renovated by the owners. So if this is what you're looking for, it's perfect. The hosts, Nathalie and Marco are so accommodating and were great to talk to. Giving recommendations, and taking us to the local market where we wanted to visit. The cat even allowed our son to harass him! The pousada in Santo Antonio is close enough, but yet far enough from the Pelourinho and also is close to a pleasant street with lots of bars and restaurants.
