The hotel facilities, proximity to the airport, friendliness of staff. Tim, the barman, was amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean, accessible and fun! Thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

The gateway to the Netherlands, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is one of the world’s busiest international passenger terminals and is home to the Dutch national airline – KLM.
The airport sits on reclaimed land around 3 metres below sea level on the site of a former huge inland lake. In fact, the name Schiphol may mean 'ship grave', a reference to the ships that would periodically be sunk in its turbulent waters.
A train station serving many Dutch cities lies beneath the terminal building which houses a mini Rijksmuseum exhibition, reference library with multilingual books, and plenty of shops selling the ubiquitous clogs, tulip bulbs and cheese.
Booking.com’s range of Schiphol Airport hotels includes several within the airport grounds. Others are in neighbouring Hoofddorp, a town also within the area of the former lake, whose De Eersteling windmill overlooks a dike encircling a former fort.
Another windmill – the Molen van Sloten – is across a canal from Badhoevedorp on the airport’s north side. To the east the huge Amsterdamse Bos forest is a haven of peace and tranquillity (apart from the occasional aircraft!) and borders Amstelveen. To the south-west is Aalsmeer, a town set on the huge Westeinderplassen Lake, and whose massive flower auction house receives daily consignments from all over the world.

we were disappointed and would probably not return to this hotel in the future. the property was clean and in a good area. the food we ordered was good. the shuttle to the airport was good and timely. the lack of information provided by the hotel was our biggest problem - for those who are savvy world travelers it would probably not have presented an issue but for two older people who are not familiar with the hotel a LOT of information would have been helpful.

I live in Germany and travel on business from Schiphol over the last 25 years. Schiphol is well organized and structure. It features short walkways to Terminals. Security checks durations are predictable and typically go prompt. You can get good snacks and meals in a variety of caffes and restaurants. I love Starbucks right in the middle of arrivals hall. I also love going for shopping - Rituals, Victoria Secrets, Electronics, travel bags, cosmetics, books and accessories.

It helps to have a little fore - knowledge about the airport for ease of finding your way. It's very well organized and has good small fresh food places . As far as airports go it is well planned, well laid out and very manageable.

The only thing I had problems with was locating pick up area for Uber cars. I lost my pick up and had to take taxi.
It is usually a friendly airport for travelers.
For the rest I have nothing to complain about

As a frequent traveler, I have had the pleasure of experiencing airports worldwide, and Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam consistently stands out as an exemplary hub that sets the bar high for international travel.
Schiphol Airport goes above and beyond in delivering an exceptional travel experience. Its commitment to efficiency, world-class facilities, innovative technology, cultural integration, and environmental sustainability make it a shining example of what an international airport should be. Whether you're a business traveler or a tourist, Schiphol's seamless operations and attention to detail ensure that your journey starts and ends on a high note. Highly recommended!
originally stay was planned as a start to a road trip to Zeeland
So hotel was booked for its closeness to the airport and car hire
As our plans changed we used the hotel for a short city break
The hotel and its location were excellent and as advertised
Staff were all fabulous, very courteous and helpful
Food and service in Stripes was excellent
Access to the train station was superp, truly integrated
Short visit to Amsterdam was equally good
KInd regards
close to the airport, so if you are stuck at Schiphol, worth looking at it as the price might be lower than at the airports' hotels. Super helpful and cheering staff makes the difference as most of the clients reach this place because of a delayed connection and are usually already tired and grumpy... rooms are clean and comfortable. Nothing special about the place but it serves its purpose.
The hotel was convenient to the airport, as it was within a few minutes walk of the terminals and the train station. The room was cleverly designed to make good use of the space, and most of the features (curtains, lights, sounds) were controlled by a tablet. The bed was comfortable and large, and although the rest of the room was small, it had everything we needed.
Excellent hotel. Shuttle service to/from the airport was great. We were able to use the shuttle service to head back to the airport and take the train into downtown Amsterdam with no problem. Had an early morning flight so it was really nice to stay right there. The hotel is well-priced for its category and feels higher end. Would definitely stay here again!
Ibis Styles is an airport area hotel near Schiphol. I was looking for a quite hotel with breakfast and reliable transportation to and from the airport, and it worked very well. I was able to use the hotel shuttle multiple times to get to the train station and then to Amsterdam. Breakfast is quite good, facilities are new, nice, and clean.
If you need a stopover to sleep inside the airport, it would be convenient. I had a super early flight, but still had to go through passport control when switching terminals in the morning so probably staying at a more comfortable and cheaper hotel outside the actual airport would have saved as much time.
This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were all well-equipped and spacious. The staff was also very friendly and helpful for our staying. The breakfast was pretty nice. The shuttle was also friendly for traveling us between the hotel and airport/train station.
very convenient to the Schiphole airport snd train station. Three minute walk to both. so, easy access to your flights or train to downtown Amsterdam. excellent food court choices and shops in the concourse. There is a market in the concourse to buy food and other supplies.
I loved that we could walk straight from the hotel to the airport via the walkway. It made it very simple for us to get to our flight. I also liked how close it was to the train and bus stops. It made it easy to check in and go venture into Amsterdam for the dayl
The hotel is convenient to the train station and the airport. The beds were very comfortable. Easy check-in/out process. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Signs to the hotel are posted in the train station so it is easy to find.
This is a great hotel if you have an early flight from the Schiphol airport and you'd like to sleep closeby. The hotel is easily accessible by the shuttle from the airport, and the same shuttle also takes you back tot he airport.
I loved that the room had everything: a kettle, a great ironing device and board (we had to go to a wedding the day after and really needed that).
Also the transfer from Schiphol Airport to the hotel is really convenient!
Hotel near airport with free parking. If you have a car, this is a great option. Very quiet and country-side location. Majority of hotels in Schiphol area charge 20-25 EUR per day for parking, so this was a nice advantage.
Super convenient hotel at Schiphol airport. You can walk to it from the airport and never have to go outside. Clean and comfortable room Great, though pricey breakfast.
The location of the hotel is literally inside the Airport terminal with a lot of options to eat at the airport terminal, the train station is just 5 mins from the hotel.
Is very closed to Schiphol Airport and train station, the windows are very good quality you don’t hear the noise from airport even you choose a room with airport view.
