Exceptional service and property.
The ladies at reception were friendly and very helpful with ideas and recommendations. In fact, we were scheduled to arrive after reception hours, yet the lovely Liz stayed back and welcomed us and showed us to our room.
The resort is located close to Macrossan street, but far enough to be in a quiet location. It was also within walking distance to the beach if you wanted to leave their lovely pools.

I really liked the wide variety of places to dine and all within easy walking distance. Lovely walk along the beach and up to the viewing points. Very clean and in a great location for getting to other areas of interest in that part of Queensland. It’s a great location.

We have been regulars in Port Douglas for the last twenty years the most consistent restaurants are as follows
1.Zinc
2. Salsa
3. Iron Bar
4. Gelato place called La Capenina
Most people are very friendly and accommodating and walking along 4 Mile beach is great however if you’re a family and want to see the reef don’t let the experience be soured by the expense as you do need a bit of money however

Great family holiday destination; lots to do.
Great family holiday destination; lots to do.
Snorkelling at the reef, strolling on the beaches and in the rainforest. Hartleys crocodile well worth a visit.
Lovely warm weather; easy to get around.
Roading up to Cape Tribulation still slow and some surface flooding due to heavy rainfall whilst we were there.

Location is amazing, just a short 15-20 minute car drive to the famous Mossman Gorge - DONT LEAVE PORT DOUGLAS WITHOUT GOING TO MOSSMAN GORGE - a truly great place to swim but be very, very, extremely cautious whilst in the water - the currents are very strong in some areas of the gorge.
Port Douglas is very scenic and majestic with many beautiful beaches - most of which you really cannot swim as there are signs advising caution with the possibility of crocks and marine stingers. Port Douglas has a vast range of eateries - would definitely recommend staying/visiting.

The tropical feeling.
The tropical feeling. Beautiful plants and trees shopping was good everything was available from food to clothes. Locals were lovely and friendly highly recommend Zinc and the larger. A great Italian 🇮🇹 gelati shop owner makes his own cakes and icecream highly recommend seabean tapas bar awesome Spanish food. Beautiful Asian red on the right side of the Main Street best food ever I forgot to check everything is homemade and the owner was simply gorgeous….
A great place to stay if you don't mind being at Craiglie, about 6kms from Port Douglas. There is no public transport into PD from the resort although you can book a shuttle service. A great pool with a Tiki Bar which was open from 4 Weds thru Sun. Tennis court as well. Comfy beds, great shower & washing machine & dryer if you've been up in the Daintree & need to do laundry. Kitchen facilities were great
Everything was spotlessly clean, freshly painted and a new kitchen and bathroom. The gardens are beautiful and the pool looked lovely although we didn't have time to use it. The apartments are very central to both the shops and beach. Most importantly, Sonya and Robin were so helpful and friendly. Sonya helped us organise a great day out in and around Port Douglas.
Perfect location for exploring Port Douglas and the surrounding area. The accommodation was superb, excellent layout, clean and beautiful and the staff were extremely helpful, especially Lee, who was kind enough to help us with our queries before our arrival from the UK. I would highly recommend these apartments and would love to come back! Thank you so much :)
Where do I start....a perfect complex of accommodation set on the main street of Port Douglas but set back off the road. Position was perfect. Hosts are lovely people which makes all the difference. The apartments are spotless, secure and sound proof. We have rebooked for April next year and can't wait. Thankyou for a lovely stay 😊
The gardens are beautiful. There is a ramp to lobby. Unlike many hotels in the Cairns region this hotel is accessible for people of all ages and the staff are very willing to accommodate this. The mould issues that plague many Cairns hotel rooms due to carpets being put in the rooms seem to have been dealt with here.
Location was superb, simple two minute walk to the heart of Port Douglas. The villa itself is a Balinese work of art, with multiple living areas and courtyards, and a fantastic heated pool where we spent a lot of time. Plenty of fan and air-con options, we were very happy to be here.
The Villas are located right on the Main Street of Port Douglas. It’s an excellent location for restaurants, beaches, and shopping. You could walk everywhere. The villas were well equipped and there was laundry available. Our room was very quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners Kim & James were very friendly and provided top service. We felt at home. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Port Douglas, which makes it easy to access the beaches, restaurants, pubs and shops by foot.
We visit Port Douglas regularly and divide our time between the Sheraton Mirage and the Pullman. We had stayed at the Pullman Sea Temple on a previous occasion and found the penthouse to be luxurious and we couldn't wait to return. Our recent experience was very different.
Unfortunately, I didn't appreciate this hotel as it is rated 5 stars when in fact it is borderline between 3 and 4 only. The location of the hotel to town is good, however the room we were provided did not meet our expectations for the cost.
The room was beautifully decorated and the bed/pillows were really comfortable. The hotel surrounds, pool, bar area were well laid out with lots of room and plenty of sun beds. All the staff at the complex were friendly and professional.
The room was lovely and clean and had everything I needed and location was fantastic we could walk to all restaurants and market and had a great parking area which we felt safe thank you for a fantastic experience in port Douglas
A lovely central location where our room was a private oasis. Although Port Douglas was a hive of activity, you could not hear any of the street noise from the apartment or the relaxing day bed on the enclosed verandah.
Excellent location, only a 5-minute walk from the main street of Port Douglas. The room was well presented, clean and tidy. The room also had plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery which was a pleasant addition.
Loved the location... outlook into the rainforest was spectacular. We hired bikes and rode into Port Douglas very easily along the beach. Also very peaceful and private from the adjacent two townhouses.
the Ramada is a beautiful hotel, the pool is amazing, there is a path to four mile beach which is a 5 minute walk away and the staff are so helpful and wonderful.
