Hotel Vera Ballarat, hotel in Ballarat

Located in Ballarat, a 13-minute walk from Ballarat Train Station, Hotel Vera Ballarat has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

The excellent restoration of this magnificent Victorian building shows how clever and considerate are the owners. They have incorporated luxury comfort without losing the features of the building, and the modern extension to the property blends seamlessly. Throughout the place are cosy reading nooks and a marvellous and eclectic selection of fabulous books, art and memorabilia, placed always to enhance the sense of design. The owners are warm and friendly and add to the overall sense of welcome and serenity. The weekend continental breakfast was excellent. Overall we felt a sense of calm in this lovely place.

I was thrilled that the begonias in the botanic gardens were still in full bloom ( mid April) . I was moved by the exhibit on the Eureka Stockage. I was impressed with the large number of elegant historic buildings in the city.

Ballarat has much to offer all ages. Plenty for young children, teenagers, young adults and older adults. It has many good places to eat, all reasonably priced, from coffee shops, up market restaurants and good pub bistro food. Ballarat is easy to get around, just use google maps or your navcam

Lots of experiences for families to enjoy especially the Eureka Discovery Centre , Sovereign Hill settlement and the Aura night show, Art Museum and Avenue of Honour. Beautiful courtyard in the centre of the apartments to look out into from the lounge room. Tables & chairs outside for when the sun comes out. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Clean apartment. Daily servicing if required. Quiet & beautiful surroundings in whole hotel complex. Service station & meal options nearby. Our main reason for booking was a reasonable price in school holidays when others triple the price. Right opposite Sovereign Hill which is great for families. We’ll be back!

The property was very private but easily accessible, it was close to everything nearby. The house itself was immaculately clean and had a very homely feeling. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the essentials you need. The staff were very contactable and friendly. Would 10/10 recommend and will definitely be staying here when i go to ballarat next.

A large Motel right next to the Eureka Centre at Ballarat. Large Comfortable rooms and stocked with all the usual requirements. I think that this place has had an upgrade. It shows and is all the better for it. No cheap Motels in Ballarat (that are livable anyway) but this one stacks up well against the others. Fantastic location for historic touring.

The room was spacious, I liked that it had a separate living area. The hotel team is very friendly and did their best to accommodate for our needs. I like that they stock up the room with breakfast basics every day (bread, cereals, jam, butter, coffee, milk, joice etc.)

Had the family room which was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Beds very comfy including the bunk beds. It's right next to the sovereign hill and can be accessed from the village itself so it's perfect if staying overnight for the AURA show. Great value for money!
