The fact that the hotel had a heated pool and a sauna was the primary reason we chose this hotel. We were extremely happy with the choice, we could even park the 3 motorbikes in the private area and head out for drinks in the evening.

The town is popular as a gastronomic "getaway", with many restaurants offering local and global delicacies. It's very easy to get around and the town is well connected by train and bus with other cities.

Coming from South East England, Växjö seemed, very, very, very quiet. Quieter than a Sunday during the first lockdown in England. It was not unusual to see no cars on a main road.
Växjö and Sweden as a whole is very well organised. Hardly any litter, no graffiti, everyone very polite. Most people spoke English and were eager to help if we needed help.
The bus service is excellent, the timetables are accurate to the minute.
If you like peace and quiet it's a good place to go. If you're looking for clubs and nightlife, Sweden is the wrong country for you.

The cathedral (domkyrkan) is outstanding, with magnificent etched glass, coloured glass, glass accents, befitting this little city in Sweden’s famous glass blowing district. The Småland Museum is also very good, with an excellent depiction of the history of glass blowing in Sweden. Its exhibition about wood is exceptional, too. Växjö itself, at least in the centre, is pretty and architecturally interesting.
The property is suitated in central of Vaxjo, where train station and bus stop being 3-5 mins away by walk. The city is pretty much easily accessible with one day of trip to go around. People are friendly and helpful where everyone speaks English. There are also bike rental shops which you can rent to roam around the city. There is cycle route to whoe around city, which you can be safe to cycle around. The apartment is clean and tidy with essential utensils.
Initial thought was hotel was quite basic and hotel was split into 3 parts and we were directed around the corner to another hotel but to come back to hotel for food but hotel had very friends staff, very nourishing food, free tea and coffee in reception.
The fact that the hotel had a heated pool and a sauna was the primary reason we chose this hotel. We were extremely happy with the choice, we could even park the 3 motorbikes in the private area and head out for drinks in the evening.
Very good value for money, the apartment had everything needed for a longer stay (washing machine, kitchen, etc.). So definitely recommended for a longer stay in Växjö. Very comfortable and clean. Self check-in is well organized.
Thanks to the host, really nice welcome! Top room, clean and coffee for free in the room and inside the Hotel. Very good breakfast. Top recommended!! Very nice ! Should i Stay once More in Vaxjö, i will be there !
Nice hotel, centrally located with free car parking. Only a short stroll to the bars and restaurants. Excellent breakfast buffet and the WiFi worked well. All staff were friendly and helpful.
A little far from the center of Vaxjo, but right next to campus. Easy instructions for accessing the apartment. Super clean and great amenities: Gym, Sauna, outside grilling area, etc....
Comfortable hotel close to train station and walkable downtown. Restaurant/pub was full of locals at supper time. We enjoyed cold smoked salmon with craft beer at hotel.
