A good budget option close to the railway station and a short walk from restaurants and other attractions in the town centre. The room rate included a good buffet breakfast.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Lulea, The room was quiet, clean and had a nice view. All the staff were friendly and helpful, you felt welcome from the first moment. The breakfast buffet was excellent and so was dinner at their restaurant (called '9', as it is located on the 9th floor.) Highly recommended - hotel and restaurant.

It was cold around Christmas time, it’s a small city with everything you need but nothing more than that.
I waited for the Aurora borealis but barely saw them these depends on the weather conditions I did expected the -25 and am happy that it didn’t got any colder than that

had coffee, a beautiful strawberry small pastry, cheap burgers (for swedish money), even bought a nice luggage
walked on a frozen lake (it was cold)
the sun shining, when not cloudy, 8/10
people sometimes smile at you when you greet them
we found NO cocktails in this god forsaken place, what people do for fun, remains a mystery (alcohol store was good tho, so probably they drink at home)
civilised place, with toilets and heating in multiple places
some trash on the floor, proper european culture

Luleå city, with its stunning landscape, is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. However, during my winter 2023 visit, I found the city's attractions quite limited. Many sites were unexpectedly closed for renovations or other reasons, and without pre-booked activities, options were scarce, as tickets for popular activities sold out quickly. The city's compact size makes it easy to explore on foot, but the lack of open attractions during my stay disappointed a traveler looking for spontaneous adventures.

Great clean air city center almost surrounded by water with beautiful views. Free ice skating and walking on the ice in winter - swimming in the summer in the clean water. Broad shopping avenues with a wide variety of good restaurants. Peaceful city not overcrowded, safe and clean both indoors and outside. Great relaxing getaway.

We came down to Lulea from 'the wilderness' further north west, it was a nice clean town with lots of facilities. We travelled down by train which was lovely - the station is right in the town so very convenient - as was the bus out to the airport when we left. It was late January and the sea was frozen - an amazing sight and experience to walk on it over to an island and then across to land on the other side (near the airport). We also tried 'kick-sledging' which was fun. In summer there is obviously lots of opportunity for enjoying the water and lovely countryside.

Wonderful!
Wonderful! I do enjoy being in smaller towns with small tiny shops, friendly people who are talking to each other which seems to be the core of the live in Luleå.
I visited Luleå during the Wintertime which I can truely recommend. The concept of isbana is Wonderful -walking on the frozen water and creating the Space for all of the types of sport there!
Located in the main street of Lulea city center, this is a lively hotel: at the lobby there is a bar and a restaurant and there is often something going on as they work with local residents as well. I stayed 9 nights, so I enjoyed that. The staff is kind and helpful, there is a little nice complimentary SPA, and the breakfast is very good (great selection). The hotel restaurant is very good as well, though the selection is not huge. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay. Safebox for large laptop available in the room.
Apartments for those who want to stay at budget-friendly place with all necessary amenities. Small, but cozy accommodation has a clean, well-equipped kitchen. The shower has good water pressure and, what’s nice, really hot water — the perfect thing on frosty winter days. An additional bonus is the unity of silence and nature among the pine forest. Good parking lot and a bus stop not far from accommodation are available. It is note-worthy, staff is highly responsive — Thanks for your help
Two-minute walk from train station, so great for train travellers stopping off at Luleå. Room is decently-sized, with a desk and chairs included, as well as five lamps. Decor is friendly on the eyes and staff is friendly, too. Hotel is housed in an old patrician house which gives a nice homely feeling. Breakfast is truly excellent, among the best I have had, with salmon, cheese, wonderful sylt (better than jam) and fresh cranberry bread, rolls, cereals etc.
Located very close to the train and bus stations, we were greeted by lovely staff. Hotel Naran also has a shared guest kitchen to boil water, male coffee, etc. The breakfast buffet was over the top, a broad variety for muesli lovers, fresh fruit, different cakes (!) and sweets every day, beside a wide range of cheeses, bread, etc. Even though the room was on the ground flood, it was not loud at all.
Basic hotel situated close to train station which was important to us. No staff present whatsoever apart from a maid at breakfast so you cannot ask questions easily or get local information
It is budget budget and you get what you pay for
No issue with cleanliness etc but they are making good margins of profit with the level of limited service provided
Very clean and comfortable! Friendly host made it feel like home. It was an easy walk to the bus stop which can take you anywhere in town. Even though there is a shared bathroom, there are actually two of them so it is easy to find a toilet when you need it.
A lovely hotel rooms were very comfortable and had everything you needed. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast that set you up for the day.location was great, close to centre and quiet at night. Staff were friendly and helpful
Very nice little house in a peaceful area. Not far away from Luleå center but supercalm. Decorated with love to the details the appartement offers everything you need for a fair price!
Parking in front of the house was practical.
We upgraded to a comfort room instead of a budget room and got a very nice view form the 3rd floor. The breakfast is still great, even when the salmon was missing. Sauna on the ground floor - and the central location is great.
We got upgraded to a bigger cabine as ours wasn’t ready when we arrived. Really kind staff 🙂
The view was amazing and the flat was really warm. Super nice in winter !
I definitely recommend First Camp Arcus Luleå!
Nice house, clean. Nice location and quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the activities in and near Luleå.
Netflix and prime on the tv in the living room.
Will absolutely recommend 👍👌
Great hotel in central Luleå! Friendly service, spotlessly clean everywhere, nice lobby to stay and have a coffee, really amazing complimentary breakfast buffet on the top floor.
The breakfast was good but its normal for the money we gave up. The location is good but lulea is more of a small city center. The bathroom was very nice though small
