It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice.

From the minute I walked into the hotel I felt like I came home.
I was greeted like a family member and it was amazing from the start to the end of my stay. I also got freshly picked cherries as a wonderful snack, so yummy!
The lovely team of the hotel (read my new family) took me to the viewing point for the sunset. It was one of the most spectacular things I ever experienced, BEAUTIFUL sunset 2.000 meter up in the gorgeous mountains. It felt like being in heaven! LOVED IT! My dinner at the hotel was epic, so good Lebanese food. I slept in my bed a very good sleep, and before I went to bed I had the amazing full moon as my company, shining beautiful over the mountains. It was like being in a film. In the morning I went for a peaceful walk and saw the sun coming up over the mountains. The breakfast was soo good, loved it! I also bought the book written by the owner of the hotel, Madame Desiree Sadek, with beautiful pictures of the Cedars Of God Bsharri, the money goes to the forest to plant more trees, so happy! I will come back for sure to see my new family and enjoy this fantastic hotel ad nature. Thank you!!

A beautiful and cozy mountain town with lively culture.
A beautiful and cozy mountain town with lively culture. The perfect base to explore the Kadisha valley. The monasteries of Mar Elisha and Hawka are not to be missed, not the museum of Ghebran. We had a great stay at Hotel L’Aiglon.

I keep visiting Bcharre every time I am in Lebanon.
I keep visiting Bcharre every time I am in Lebanon. It is rated as one of the most villages in Lebanon. It is the only village in the area that has a public transportation office (although public buses pass by all villages around). It is a 15-minute drive to the Cedars forest and to ski slopes. One could contemplate marvelous views of Bcharre and the area from the Cedars. From the Cedars, you could also take an ATV or hike up the highest mountain in the Middle East (Black peak). There are two trails that connect Bcharre to Qannoubine Valley (UNESCO world heritage site) for hiking lovers or spiritualists. There are a few cafes and restaurants in Bcharre. I would highly recommend Maroun ice cream which is the most authentic and delicious ice cream I have ever tasted! The hotels are relatively cheap as well.
Lovely, quaint little guesthouse in Bcharre. Great location within 5 min from where the buses take you to either Beirut or Tripoli. Also really close to the turn off if you wish to walk to the cedars or hike into the valley, both of which I highly recommend. The owner knows loads about the area and also happy to help out when she can. Breakfast being included really adds to the value as well. I'd happily have spent more time here if I had the time and would recommend this guesthouse to anyone wishing to venture into this region of Lebanon.
Very cute and cozy Inn, with the ground floor full of comfy spots by fireplaces, tables for food, and a well-stocked bar. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, but the real star of this hotel is the shared living space. We enjoyed having a drink there in the evening. We visited during the summer, so I can only imagine how nice it is to visit when it's snowy and the fireplace is lit. The staff are super friendly and accommodating.
- comfortable, spacious room with TV, private bathroom and balcony
- air-conditioning did not work but fan was enough and available
- big, tasty, diverse breakfast
- near city center next to cathedral
- during our stay bar with drinks and snacks was opened
- good communication with the owner before and during the stay
- communication possible in English, Spanish & Arabic
- big parking in front of the hotel
Stunning panoramic view over Qadisha Valley, clean and comfortable rooms. At the entrance of Qadisha Grotto, you can enter only in summer, but you can benefit from the promenade path to hike are relax. 10 mins by car to the Cedars forest and maybe 15 to Bsharri and Khalil Gibran museum. It is a family-run hotel, with friendly but limited services. a good place to relax.
Very well situated in the town of Bcharre, with easy access to the monasteries and the cedar forest. I stayed in a dorm with 8 beds but was alone due to the current situation in the Middle East. Everything is very clean. Very good Lebanese breakfast. Grace, the owner, does everything to make your stay memorable. I came as a stranger and left as a friend!
Amazing location of the hotel, and the rooms were amazing, easily 4*. The host made us breakfast in the morning including home made jam.
Was an amazing view from the room and the dining area.
Would highly recommend a stay here if you're visiting Northern Beirut, a definite must!
The hotel has a magnificent view over the Kadisha valley, we enjoyed an amazing sunset just sitting inside while waiting for the dinner.
Family-run hotel with warm and friendly service, they cooked dinner for us.
Unbeatable location, literally in the clouds, with fabulous views of the mountains, Bcharre, and the sea. Toni is a welcoming and thoughtful host, along with his family and staff. Truly an outstanding place.
Beautiful hotel and very quiet location near the cedars and the ski lifts. We were the only guests and the hotel staff went out of their way to help and make ur stay as enjoyable as possible
The hotel is ideal if you want to visit the Cedars of God. Hotel offers incredible views of the mountain and the valley. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good
