Breakfast was good and wholesome. Location was good easy walking distance of the ferry. Fantastic view from our upper floor room. This part of the island seemed to be the bigger settlement with food market and restaurants. Possible to walk to Chichu Art Museum (going anti-clockwise) in about 25-30 minutes.

The attention to detail at Roka made the stay very comfortable and convenient. The rooms are so spacious and gorgeous, of course the private onsen was the highlight. It’s very peaceful and I didn’t hear my neighbours. I’d recommend two nights as it’s the best stay in all of Japan for sure. The staff are all so friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Tsutsujiso. We had a yurt all by ourselves facing the beach. We could hear the sound of the waves during our sleep. The barbecue was a hit ! I would definitely come back.

Handy location in small quiet community, within walking distance of Honmura and Benesse/Lee Ufan/Chichu along coast roads and via inland small roads. Also bicycles free to use. Bus stop Tenno shita for no. 2 bus from main port just outside the property.
