People. Reliable. Beauty. Removed. How the took care of us. We, collectively, all ask the same repetitive When/What/How type questions and everyone seemed genuinely in tune with this give & take. The raisin filled tiny pastries

Check in was so convenient. Andrea at the Front Desk was the most amazing staff I've ever met. He took care of everything and anything. If I needed a drink to the room, a scooter to rent or a recommendation for dinner - he's the guy! Amazing staff. Amazing views from the balkony, service is top notch, food at the hotel restaurant out of this world, and I operated serveral restaurants before. The food is 20 ot of 10. Just an amazing experience. Thanks to Ill Pino and Andrea!!!!

Priano is very small, so it is less expensive than the other cities close by. The church and the local neighborhood around were enjoyable. The fine restaurants were very expensive, and the moderate priced restaurants were hit and miss.

We love Priania we have been there several times and it never disappoints. It’s a small town but everything you need is there the bus service to Positano and Amalfi is very handy. We were disappointed that the ferries weren’t operating yet so we didn’t get to Capri but all the more reason to come back again.

There's not a lot to do in Praiano itself but it's a great place to stay for day trips to Positano and Amalfi with frequent buses stopping in the village. It was good to be away from the crowds in the evenings and whilst small the choice and standard of restaurants was good

Buses to and from neighbouring Amalfi and positano are cheap but don't necessarily arrive on time !! Tickets must be purchased in advance at little shops. The locals are very friendly and happy to point you in the right direction and if you need help with the steep stairs take the little local
Bus for one euro that runs exactly in time and to listen to the locals is a joy. Such a community feel and a great feel good boost !!

The Sentieri degli Dei was my favorite.
The Sentieri degli Dei was my favorite. We walked from Praiano to Positano and had lunch in Nochelle. The walk up the to the church and the views were wonderful. The little town on the hillside was clean and bright and wonderful for anyone who does not mind walking up and down many steps. I would recommend that future travellers not spend much time in either Positano or Amalfi. Both were crowded and very touristy.

A great value to stay as "home base".
A great value to stay as "home base". We did day trips to Positano and Amalfi each day via water taxi. The bus would have been much more economical but we wanted to see each town from the water and the taxis provided a mini tour of the coast with each trip. We did want to take the city bus to the beach on a Sunday AM, but after waiting about 20 minutes it passed our stop by b/c it was packed full. We decided to do the 30 minute walk to Il Gavitella beach and discovered some nice small shops and the San Gennaro church.
The town itself has great restaurant options including Il Pirata, Franchino and La Moressa.
location was great...access to the hotel was great!! staff was awesome and the food delicious...our room was very comfortable and we loved the patio view of the water and the gardens outside our balcony..we enjoyed the 400 steps down to the water...crazy type of "beach" but when in Praiano...do as they do...great recommendation for the little restaurant across the street Stragin? love the food and the 2-person staff was like family by the end of our stay...
Loved this hotel! Family-owned and so well-located between Positano and the Almafi Coast. Transportation to and from is easy, only about 10-15 minutes to get to Positano by bus. The bus stop is only 300 meters south of the hotel. Plenty to eat in the surrounding area and beautiful views. The hotel is clean, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the area, and it makes for a wonderful time in Praiano.
Absolutely beautiful location with so much space to enjoy the Amalfi coast and relax. There are a few good restaurants close by if you aren’t up for a hike but if you are, there are also many others around. The best thing about this place was the space and the ability to stay in your own apartment without feeling like you’re missing out on anything. Very rare in Italy to find such facilities at this price!
Rosa on the front desk is amazing! Very knowledgeable and helpful.
Antonio, the pool bar manager, was fantastic..so much fun!
Our breakfast waiters were lovely, and the best coffee I had in Italy.
It's a stunning place, I went there to celebrate a special birthday and it was magical.
Oh, and make sure you book a table at Il Pino ristorante next door... delicious! Not to mention the entertainment 😊
Beautiful room, high ceilings, large balcony with sun loungers and table and chairs. Stunning views. Good breakfast spread. Husband has coeliac disease and they catered for him very well which was very kind of them. Staff happy to organise taxi to and from airport. Small beach 5 minutes down the road and Praiano a 20 minute walk away. Bus stop directly outside hotel.
This property was absolutely breathtaking - everything about it from the views, the rooms, the staff and the morning breakfast were incredible.
All the staff were so friendly, genuine, attentative and helpful - the best service we had across our 5 week trip around Italy.
My fiancé and I were very sad to leave.
It was absolutely amazing. Love the property and the view is really nice. Praiano is a quieter area, but it's close to Positano, so it is pretty convenient. The two rooms are nice and the outdoor area is also very relaxing. Love the design of the place and it is a very enjoyable, and unique place to stay!
There is not a bad view from the hotel. It is in an amazing location with incredible views across the sea and over to Praiano, Capri, and Positano in the distance. The staff were excellent as well. The beach club was beautiful, and the food at both the restaurant upstairs and the beach club was excellent.
Aside from the astounding view of Positano,
the decoration of the lobby had a certain Italian charm with its ceramic figurines, plants and roses. The room was simple yet elegant. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the bus to Positano and Amalfi.
Nice hotel, clean room and spacious, friendly staff, plenty of stairs but the great part was the view from our terrace: unspeakable beautiful 😍 Praiano is a good choice and easy to reach Amalfi and Positano.( Bus or water taxi)
Well done Bellavista!!
The hotel is located on the beach between Praiano and Positano, amazing place to stay if you are mobile with a car/motorcycle.
Great hospitality, rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is very rich with see view everywhere you look.
Wonderful location overlooking the beautiful Praiano. Lovely and quiet boutique hotel with the most helpful staff. Clean and spacious room with comfortable beds and effective but quiet air conditioner. Wish I could have stayed longer!
Hotel view was amazing and it was very close to one of the best beach in Praiano. As big plus the hotel restaurant was surprisingly great especially when you are stuck at the hotel while the weather is heavily raining.. -bad luck:(
La Maurella has the perfect location in Praiano and is in walking distance of many beaches, bars and restaurants in Praiano. The view from the rooms and the breakfast area is just amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful.
The family that ran this hotel was fun , helpful and accommodating!
The morning breakfast on the veranda overlooking the sea was memorable . The location was perfect! Close to the beach, restaurants and a bus stop,
Amazing Praiano, amazing place, nice breakfast and food, good stuff helpful, very beautiful view and hotel. The location is great in the middle of everything, in Italy you need to walk so it’s good place.
Very clean property with amazing views from this hotel. It’s also located very centrally in Praiano! The staff was super sweet and extremely helpful with all of our queries!
The place was amazing! Beautiful location, lovely interior and incredible balcony with large bubble bath. They even had a comfortable bed, softer than usual in Italy!
Breakfast in the room with breathtaking view. Excellent service. Good location on the coast line. This was by far our favourite hotel of our 12 day tour around Italy
The location is perfect - away from the madness of Positano but close enough to visit. The breakfast was a highlight - coffee was the best we had in Italy!
