One of the first Bali resorts, Kuta has a long, sandy beach and great nightlife - reasons why it’s one of Indonesia’s top tourist spots.
Another popular draw is Kuta surfing. From gentle rollers to lefthanders, the waves are great for all abilities. Several shops in town sell big-brand surf gear at knockdown prices, while other shopping options include Kuta Square, Discovery Mall and Bali Mall Galleria.
There’s also no shortage of places to eat. Street vendors offer local fare, while international cuisine is served in restaurants of the Kuta hotels on Booking.com. When the sun goes down, the heat goes up, as the bars and clubs in party zone Jalan Legian kick into life. For something more refined, the bars by Kuta Beach waterfont are a great spot to watch the sunset with a refreshing cocktail.
If you’re up early enough to see the Sanur Beach sunrise, you might get to see locals throwing traditional offerings into the sea. Spirituality is a big part of Balinese life and there are yoga and meditation classes, not to mention spas to revive the senses.
The gateway to southern Bali, Denpasar Airport is right on the edge of the town, so it won’t be long before you can stretch out and soak up the sun.

It felt similar to Seminyak.
The beach s not as good, in that it does not have restaurants on the beach like Seminyk has.
Kuta beach mall is nice if you're looking to shop brands and pay western prices.
There are plenty of restaurants in Kuta, plenty of tourist shops, plenty of tour booking angencies, currency exchange etc...
Very convinient in that it is not far from the airport and not far from Waterbom water park.

There was no late night noise, very peaceful. Shower was lovely, warm water whenever we wanted it.
We liked the Indian restaurant over the road. We did not visit the beach this time, due to reports of harassment by sellers. we were only there 3 days, so hopefully net time we will have a good walk around. We really love Bali and hope we can come back in the future. We will always stay at Febri's. It would be especially good if you provided transport to and from Airport, and we would be more than willing to pay for this.
Thank you so much for making us so welcome.

Excellent location / cozy and spacious well appointed room.
Excellent location / cozy and spacious well appointed room. Srprisingly universal adopters were provided in the working table. Big advantage when you realise that you are not carrying one.
Excellent spread of items for Breakfast. Dinner from Indian restaurant Rang Mahal was great.
We were Upgraded to Suite room on second day.
Family room also was good but Suite room was better as there was smart TV, Especially on Nepesi day 11th March when all TV transmission was stopped.
Overall great stay and would recommend the same to all travellers
especially from India. You can check the review on You tube channel MY EXPERIENCES by Avadhut Apte
The Location was great. The next building was the mall, when you cross the streat there is Kuta beach, which unfortunately is only for surfing due to big waves but the whole west past of Bali is only for surfing. When you cross the street there is plenty of cheap streetfood. The reastaurant of the hotel is one of the most common and visited in kuta, always lots of visitors and the food was fresh. When you forget your room card the staff is in front of your door to open it before you even reach your room, super quick service.
A warm welcome at reception by the two gentlemen that were working (I didn't take their names) and a welcome drink which was delicious and a quick swift check-in. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The location was great right near a shopping mall! We booked last minute as near to the airport and did not no there is also a Bali Resort and amazed at how big the complex was. It was only a short walk through the hotels grounds to the beach where we had a few bottles of Bintang Beer and watched the sun go down!
Very quiet. We were overlooking an empty car park. Which was fine. No plane noise at all. Good clean pool. Not many kids or bogans.
A good option if you want to capitalise on a cheap Bali fare from Australia and happy just to hang out in a hotel for a connecting flight to your preferred destination. Eg Lion Air to Surabaya was about $70 each way. So a good budget way to rest between flights. We're not interested in Bali so this hotel was good to keep our budget down and get to Surabaya.
Love this hotel! The front staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping, and everyone we met were very nice. Opt for the breakfast to be added to your reservations. They have a great breakfast buffet pool side (clean!) and with a gorgeous view of the ocean.
Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Our group had the pool side and balcony rooms. Both were nice. Hotel was across the street from the beach and close to local markets. Will stay here again next time we're in Bali again.
From the moment I stepped into the Vira Bali Boutique Hotel I felt, relaxed. It was very late when I arrived but I was very courteously shown my room and the facilities that were available to use such as bottled water, a kettle and tea and coffee, also how to use the air conditioning! The next morning when I opened my shutters and stepped out on to my own balcony overlooking a beautiful pool and garden area. Absolute bliss!
Great location near airport. Walking distance to the horrible and dirty beach. Kuta is not the best city to stay for your vacation.
However, I really like the hotel. Restaurants and shopping nearby.
It is sad to see how Indonesia has a terrible problem with their trash, and it will hurt their tourist revenue. I will produce a documentary in YouTube about my stay in Bali. Just search, EZTrek360 Guillermo
great place in the center of Kuta! The rooms are super modern and clean and have everything that you need! enough space to place your stuff and even a fridge! we had troubles with the aircon in the middle of the night and the staff came just for us to fix it. everyone is super friendly and makes you feel like at home. highly recommend this place! one of the best accommodations we had in Bali!
Our stay was amazing! Beach front hotel with a modern style and providing a lot of amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, 24hrs gym and free self-laundry area which is a nice bonus comparing with other hotels in Bali. Would definitely come back here for my next Bali trip. Very close to the airport as well. Great experience overall :)
This is a great hotel situated close to the airport which is convenient if you have a late flight into Bali or need a day or two before you leave. The staff are friendly and helpful the rooms a very well appointed and clean, the pool is very family friendly. This hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta/Legian and with a clean beach on your doorstep,
Great: Pool, Staff, Breakfast, Location.
Walk across the street, pass the hotel area and you are at the sea.
Breakfast indeed fantastic. Plenty of options comparing to usual Bali offer which often is only pancake or eggs..
Busy area yet quiet room and around the pool - you'll find a place to have a rest.
Comfy beds, clean bathroom.
Very comfortable and easy access (walkable) from the airport. We reached very late in the night, so decided to stay at Novotel to avoid travelling to our main hotel in Bali. We had booked a big room (Suite) and it was really good for our family (2+2). Overall, highly recommended if you are looking for a short stay at DPS airport.
This was one of my favorite airport hotel experiences. We arranged an airport pickup as it was late and it was prompt and a short drive to the hotel. The staff were lovely and the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. For the price I can't imagine anything better. This will be my go to everytime I pass through Bali airport.
After 3 weeks in Bali Poppies is the only place to stay at the end. As usual the gardens are beautiful the place impeccably clean, the breakfast outstanding and the staff are lovely. We highly recommend Poppies however would like to keep it a bit of a secret because it is truly an oasis in the middle of Kuta.
Palm Beach Hotel Bali offered me good value for money in Kuta. Even I didn’t like the city, the staff was super kind and friendly. I continued my stay for one night and that went easily. Breakfast was also delicious, cheap and it served to the room.
One of the best stays in Bali. Located at a prime area in Kuta and close to Bali airport. The owner is very friendly and awesome in making arrangements. Most recommended.
