General: Beautiful architecture, with great service and amazing food. Hotel provided a free transport to and from the Mutianyu Great Wall. Highly recommended to walk along the Great Wall and to sit the toboggan down. For those who enjoy hiking they should try hiking up from Bei Gou village where the Brickyard Retreat is located to the beginning of the Jiankou part of the Great Wall. Service: The concierge and the restaurant staff were all very friendly and eager to serve. They created a very warm and comfortable environment for our stay. Food: We were amazed by the breakfast every day, which served both western and Chinese staples. All the ingredients were fresh and the cooking was excellent. Special mention to the wedges, hash browns and sweet potato fries that were nicely crisp on the outside whilst being moist on the inside. They served freshly cooked traditional dumplings and Rou Jia Mo as well as fresh handmade Chinese paos, and they were all excellent. These are just some examples. Room: We stayed in the Stone Forest villa and the rooms were comfortable. Heating worked well and there was also a fireplace. Especially loved the architecture.

My stay at CMYK Stoneyards was absolutely wonderful, from start to finish. The house is beautiful, the surrounding nature is stunning, and the food is the freshest and most delicious I have eaten in China. This place is a little paradise, the owner has done an incredible job at designing the spaces and the staff is super friendly. Big thank you to Marina for her warm welcome and support during my stay. Flower Yard was one of our favorite hotel in China so far. Angel and Tony were amazing, they were super kindly and hospitality. Rooms were very clean and cozy. beds and blankets were very comfortable. Great Location, it located at foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall. Especially, they provide free shuttle bus from their hotel to the entrance of the Mutianyu Great Wall. Great services!

Cosy above expectation. Super friendly and helpful staff that offered a ride to the Great Wall. And lovely part of the Wall since it was not packed with tourists at all in the end of May. Lovely food at the location, large portions to a small price.
