The location and staff was lovely. The room was clean and basic.

The Gasthaus Steinbock in Gsteig is situated 200 metres from the Wilderswil train station close to Interlaken and offers views of a historic church and a covered wooden bridge.

Root were super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was super and staff were elderly people and they were super friendly. Hotel is right opposite to the river and can hear the sound of flowing water( the current was high). We enjoyed it. The location is not conveniently accessible by public transport. However if you are travelling by car, then accessibility is not an issue(that why we choose, to avoid crowds). There are restaurants nearby( like 5-10 min drive).

Difficult to beat value for money. The room was comfortable and clean with a great view. Note the sink was outside the bathroom, not really a downside but worth knowing. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was solid. Good choice of sweet and salty options with nice fresh bread, cheeses, cold cuts and fresh fruit.

We had a panaroma room on the first floor of the hotel with amazing view of the mountains. It has a balcony on which you can enjoy your morning coffee or a evening drink with fabulous views. It is a short walk from the station. This hotel is about 500m from their main hotel which has a reception. The Annex-in does not have a reception and have to do self check-in at a building just opposite the hotel which also has the breakfast area. The breakfast was nice with scrambled eggs, breads, cereals, yogurt, coffee, fruits, cheeses. We don't require a very fancy breakfast or too many options and this is enough for us. The staff is also nice and we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Wilderswil which is conveniently located only one train stop away from Interlaken OST.

Rather quaint and individual rooms with shared bathroom on the floor, all very clean and comfortable. Fabulous 4 course set meal whilst enjoying the incredible location, views and sunset! Also a good breakfast and friendly staff.

Almost everything is extremely perfect for this apartment. On the cold rainy night when you miss the bus and arrive wilderswil at 9pm, then you see the house right in front of you when you get off the train was very impressive moment of your horrible night. Apartment is so big, there are 3 bedrooms with big kitchen and full option kitchenware. Next to the apartment is wilderswil train station, bus stop and supermarket. You can reach hotel either by train from Interlaken ost or bus from Interlaken west. The train from this station will go to Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. The environment is great, quiet and beautiful.
