Situated in Launceston, 2.1 km from Queen Victoria Museum and 2.6 km from Boags Brewery, The Dragonfly Inn features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a shared lounge and a garden. The Dragonfly Inn is located in a gorgeous heritage property that features a beautifully decorated dining room and lounge, with thoughtful touches like DVDs and complimentary port. We didn't really use the communal areas though, as our room Rosie was a comfy and cosy self contained unit with a kitchen and small sitting area that we were quite happy to stay in for all 3 nights of our stay. Our breakfast supplies were placed in the fridge - eggs, milk, juice, muesli, yoghurt, preserved fruits and a selection of spreads - more than enough for a hearty breakfast ! Check in and check out was simple and fuss free. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience!

The Rivulet is located in Hobart and is a heritage-listed boutique hotel. Everything. We even went next door and watched a cricket game.

The room was exceptionally beautiful, the whole house actually was. Gorgeous interior and extremely perfect location, just next to the penguine spotting point. We arrived late and had a super smooth checkin. Since the town stores were already closed it was even more pleasant to be able to choose from the amazing variety of local beverages that were setup in the room.

Just a few meters from the ferry departure to Maria Island.

Jo & Ken do an outstanding job welcoming you to their B&B with a customizable breakfast that is vegetarian-friendly and celiac-friendly. The facilities are of great comfort. Additionally, the hosts have great knowledge of the region and can provide less-known tips for hiking trails, restaurant tips and other activities around Strahan. They are also quite knowledgeable about the history of the place, there is a huon pine tree in the nice gardens of the house and the "Honesty-bar" has a very good selection of wines from mainland Australia and especially Tasmania.

I spent many hours just walking the pathways or sitting on a bench, admiring the array of flowers and plants. Robert's B&B is more than just a bed and breakfast; it's an excellent place for relaxing in Tasmania that I'm already looking forward to visiting again.
